Hello:
I want to inform you about unprofessional service one of your waitress showed us (myself and a friend of mine), on Saturday 25th 2017 I went for dinner around 10:30 PM, we have our orders, after time it came, while eating it was cold and I found hair in it...
I asked the waitress about it, she said I will see and never come back,
We were so upset and we decided to leave and we paid on the table and did not give a tip
While leaving she approached us and begging for TI...P, we told her that we were not happy and we will not pay tip...
as we split our payment she said the tip is 18 %:
and she charged us for 7.28 $ as tip while each bill is 21.00 $ (which means more than 30 % )....
What I will say it is the last time I will come to you as well as my friend...
New York is full with other restaurants.
I am sure that their waitress can calculate well....

Food was only ok. Most items on the menu had a very high salt content. One member of our party had to have a salad due to the high salt content of the other menu items. The restaurant was dated and a few of the booth needed to be refurbished as the seating was damaged. Staff were friendly, but when the restaurant did not have the beer I ordered, our server brought a replacement beer without asking if it was suitable. The replacement beer was suitable, but it would have been nice to have been asked. I would not eat in Applebee's again due to these factors.

My step son wanted to sit at a table that needed cleaning and the lady refused to clean it and sat him somewhere else where we could not watch the basketball game we did get our drinks free after complaining the manager had her apologize but she was on the nasty side the only reason I was their was because that's what they wanted to eat to my taste it's nasty food like the waitress.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. But New York City location is over priced, but that's what you get near Times Square, have to get as much money from tourists as possible. $15 for three cheeseburger sliders with fries, and they included an 18% tip, you had no choice.

I was there at TImes Square location yesterday, 04/13. The service was excellent but the food is of low standard compared to the NJ locations. My son's fries was cold and the appetizer sampler was missing chips for the artichoke dip which I had to ask the server had she not come to me and asked if everything was okay. I felt bad paying for quite an amount of money for food that I wasn't even satisfied. I had to force myself to eat and wrap up the food. I was hoping for a better quality considering that the location is a tourist spot.

Just got back from New York was great weekend and our last meal before flight home was from here and if I'm honest it was lovely food was nice service and I don't get what all the high prices are this was the cheapest place we had food in New York but everywhere is a rip off when you pay $11.50 for a pint that's roughly £10

Worst experience ever in NYC.
My parents ordered ONE combination plate to share. And they were offered two. I told them that we ordered only one plate but they just ignored me.
I asked my parents if they want two plates or not and they told me one plate was enough for them (It had two main dishes and two sides, yes we ordered it TO save NOT TO eat a lot.)
Later a waitress came to us and she told me that it was her mistake. So we were going to ask to take a plate away but sh...e told me that she won't charge us and just ran away.
So we are anyways, and later she told me that the manager asked her if we ate both plates and so we needed to pay both. And she let us pay for both plate. Finally she discounted for us but ONLY 15% and her attitude was really disrespectful.
I understand that they could have mistakes, but her explanation wasn't enough at all and they didn't give us choice. It sucks.
I would never go the Applebees and don't recommend anybody to go there.
