You pay top price for a view that you can get anywhere on the west coast of Bali. You are herded like sheep into a holding pen if you are not a paying guest. You are treated like a second class citizen if you are not staying there. Oh, & the snobbery of the staff - get a grip guys - it is only an over-rated bar selling Bintang & ordinary food.

Save yourself the trouble - grab a blanket, grab a lover, grab a bottle of wine & either watch the sunset on the beach or at any of ...the restaurants along Jimbaran Beach.

I guarantee you will have more fun hanging with the locals who need your business - but they treat you like human beings.

The staff at Rock Bar Bali seem to have forgotten who is the customer . . . Am I here for you, or are you here for me!

As Ayana's guests who paid almost $1000 per night, we got very much disappointed. Compare to last time we were at Ayana Resort everything in the Rock Bar have been changed in a very negative way. The quality of the drinks and food, level of service, staff attendance, and attention to Ayana guests were lowered significantly making us revisit the decision of coming back to the Rock Bar in the future. If you keep doing what you are doing instead of putting your own guests first (Ayana guests) you will be left with visitors from Kuta beach only. We were at Ayana for a week and came to the Rock Bar two times only and were disappointed every single time.
Oh one more thing what happened to your dress code??

not the best sunset you have to strain your neck to see it. go to the rimba hotel sister hotel of the ayana for the best view...... price of a small bintang is $10 and with alĺ the taxes makes a very expensive drink. nothing in bali warrents a $12 bottle of beer

The location is exceptional and the music was great. We were there on a relatively quiet night, after sunset, and found the service was great. The drinks are obviously expensive but the same is true of every magnificent bat in a 5 star resort. What a beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL spot. I wish I could enjoy that view and ambience every night.

The best view I've ever seen from a bar. The bar is stunningly located and has a few sitting areas placed differently. Teja, the bartender from the main bar area was very nice, professional and accommodating. Made us feel like home. We were very impressed by the whole experience.

The place is good theme around the fun of beach and ses side dinner.
The place is just not expensive hut indeed very expensive, even for basics at beach side like bali hai and bintang.

I personally felt the place to be more hyped, albeit the service quality was good!

May burn a bigger hole like 200USD FOR A DINNER ALONE


BOTTOMLINE- not recommended for people in bali for fun and life

The most amazing place to spend the evening with a beautiful view of the sunset and the hospitality of the staff is just amazing... totally loved spending our evening at the Rock Bar!!

Amazing views of the sunset with Tegalwangi Beach and its rock formations just below the Rock Bar were a bonus.
Gede Ama our drinks server did a wonderful job in taking care of our every need, he even morphed into our private photographer!
Thankyou Ayana for a superb evening.

The view was extremely nice and the staff were friendly.However,the choices of food is very limited and the price are very high. Once is enough.
