North Queensland 20, Souths 6
Pretty standard win for the Cowboys and an infuriating loss for the Rabbitohs. For the second week in a row they were hardly dominated in the forward battles, but showed a complete lack of creativity and quality when it came to finishing in the redzone. They had plenty of ball but didn't do anything with it. That's four wins for the year for the hosts, while the visitors drop to two wins and three losses.
North Queensland will host the Tigers here next Saturday night, and the Bunnies head to Penrith to take on the Panthers. Thanks for following along, we'll see you next time.
Turner goes through a gap bit then tries to pop a pass as he's going to ground and it's dived on by Coote. That should be the last meaningful play.
Coote puts it down and Souths will have one more crack. Two minutes to go.
Bowen has stayed down, there seems to be something wrong with his leg after that tackle from Crichton.
Great dart from dummy half from Cook to put Souths on the front foot, before Jennings is tackled on the last a couple of metres out.
Back to topSam Burgess puts it down 30m out.
Fensom puts it down about 40m out from the Bunnies' line - can they find a consolation try in the final seven minutes?
Reynolds tries to go out the back but it hits Crichton on the way through for a knock on. Sloppy, disjointed football from Souths yet again.
Coote bobbles a swirling Reynolds bomb just inside his own in goal, it's ruled a 20m restart but after the bunker intervenes, it's a dropout.
Taumalolo loses it and the Bunnies avoid further punishment. 12 minutes to go and the hosts have a comfortable lead.
Back to topJohnston bobbles a long kick! Terrible result and the Cowboys will have it 10m out.

Souths have no attack. It is so sad and frustrating to watch. #NRLCowboysSouths

Souths go left again but Sutton puts it down.
The Cowboys score a remarkable try but it's coming back!
North Queensland keep it through the hands on the last, the ball goes to ground and Thurston soccers it off the ground not once, but twice before regathering and chipping back towards the centre of the park - unfortunately for him, Kane Linnett was offside on the second kick and it's a Souths penalty.
Back to topTalakai takes an intercept! He goes 70m but they run him down!
The big centre doesn't have the legs to get all the way home, they swing it to the other side after the tackle and all Jennings had to do was catch and pass and it would have been a try, but he puts it down!
This game is over as a contest. I hate the style of footy we're playing. So utterly boring and uninspiring. #NRLCowboysSouths

Cooper makes a huge break, he tries to find Thurston in support and it's knocked down by Reynolds before the Bunnies give away a penalty with their entire side trying to get back onside. North Queensland doing it easy now.
Thurston converts and it's 20-6.
Fensom gets it down next to the posts!
Game over, you'd think. The Cowboys spot a tired Anthony Cherrington in the line, the former Raider goes through him and then does really well to take a few over the line with him and get the ball down.
