Apologies for the sketchiness of this essay. I just wanted to share my current investigation with y'all. I've been searching my copious library for the connection, that I suspected existed, between Sorel and the current trend of so-called anarcho-communists. Sorel, as you may know but I surely do, was an anti-semite, violentist, anti-scientist (which is ableist at the very least), who was a central figure in the book The Birth of Fascist Ideology: From Cultural Rebellion to Political Revolution.

Anarchists march on Disney World
A black bloc composed of 2,000 fully black clad seething anarchists took over the streets of downtown Celebration, Florida yesterday and the 5 mile march on Disney World, which was also destroyed. No one was hurt or arrested, but a few newspaper boxes and windows will never see the light of day again.
