Posted to September 2015 by Dymocks Digital Team on 28/09/2015
You're a very stable bunch, Booklovers, and we mean that with respect.

We had every intention of returning to a top ten this week. That was the plan until we looked over the top ten and noticed that beyond the books sitting in first and second place switching order, the books that came in from third to eighth didn't budge. That's quite impressive.

When three powerhouse authors come together to write a new YA book series, you can be fairly sure it will be all kinds of epic and awesome. We're pleased to report that Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan, and Deborah Biancotti absolutely doesn't disappoint.

We recently sat down to talk all things zeroes to heroes with these three extraordinary writers. What did they have to say? You'll need to read on to find out...

Claire Varley's debut novel, The Bit In Between, hit our shelves in August, and it's a book that Claire refers to as her love letter to the Solomons.

We asked Claire what inspired her to write the book and she's answered that question for us in this special guest post.

Actually, that might be an understatement. He's a big legend. He has won the prestigious Carnegie Medal twice, and is one of only two authors to win the award in consecutive years (he won in both 2011 and 2012).
