Rafael is 3 years old and he's been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and High Functioning Autism. A lot of kids with autism have OCD. We are working with him in these cases several times a day when he struggles with his OCD. This was just ONE example of what he goes through multiple times a day. It really opens my eyes to things when I see him struggling with something so little. OCD is very treatable when you treat it and work on it daily. The struggle is real though, and something very little can set him off and send him in a tantrum or meltdown for hours.

Andrea used to live in Florida, until she met Hadar on World of Warcraft in 2006. In 2009, Hadar met Andrea in real life, in Israel. They were married April 13, 2010 in the states. Andrea moved to Israel in July of that same year and has been there ever since. Baby Rafael was born November 14, 2012. They film their life every day to show Andrea's family members back in FL. Andrea is on a mission to lose the baby weight, which is over 100 pounds. Hadar is a soldier in the Air Force in Israel. They currently live in military housing in Eilat, Israel. They are fun loving and happy most of the time. Not every day is good, but this is their reality!
About our baby boy: Rafael was diagnosed with OCD and High Functioning Autism, also known as Aspergers, at three years old. His interests right now are cars and trucks, and he loves all toys, but especially cars and trucks! He could literally play with these toys all day long. His bedroom is a car and truck theme. Maybe one day he will have his own toy review channel!

Obsessive–compulsive disorder
Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder where people feel the need to check things repeatedly, perform certain routines repeatedly, or have certain thoughts repeatedly. People are unable to control either the thoughts or the activities. Common activities include hand washing, counting of things, and checking to see if a door is locked. Some may have difficulty throwing things out. These activities occur to such a degree that the person's daily life is negatively affected. Often they take up more than an hour a day. Most adults realize that the behaviors do not make sense. The condition is associated with tics, anxiety disorder, and an increased risk of suicide.
The cause is unknown. There appears to be some genetic components with both identical twins more often affected than both non-identical twins. Risk factors include a history of child abuse or other stress inducing event. Some cases have been documented to occur following infections. The diagnosis is based on the symptoms and requires ruling out other drug related or medical causes. Rating scales such as the Yale–Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale can be used to assess the severity. Other disorders with similar symptoms include anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, eating disorders, tic disorders, and obsessive–compulsive personality disorder.

YESTERDAY'S VIDEO: https://youtu.be/YELbjcftIEU Rafael is 3 years old and he's been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and High Functioning Autism. A lot of kids with autism have OCD. We are working with him in these cases several times a day when he struggles with his OCD. This was just ONE example of what he goes through multiple times a day. It really opens my eyes to things when I see him struggling with something so little. OCD is very treatable when you treat it and work on it daily. Andrea used to live in Florida, until she met Hadar on World of Warcraft in 2006. In 2009, Hadar met Andrea in real life, in Israel. They were married April 13, 2010 in the states. Andrea moved to Israel in July of that same year and has been there ever since. Baby Rafael was born November 14, 2012. They film their life every day to show Andrea's family members back in FL. Andrea is on a mission to lose the baby weight, which is over 100 pounds. Hadar is a soldier in the Air Force in Israel. They currently live in military housing in Eilat, Israel. They are fun loving and happy most of the time. Not every day is good, but this is their reality!

His interests right now are cars and trucks, and he loves all toys, but especially cars and trucks! He could literally play with these toys all day long. His bedroom is a car and truck theme. If you have any of these "symptoms" (though this is not the whole spectrum), you might want to take an OCD test online. If it turns out positive and you feel your daily life is negatively affected, try visiting a psychologist. Hopefully this video encourages you to read a bit about the disorder.
Don't be ashamed - more people suffer from OCD than you might think. We're just really good at hiding it.
