Steve Austin (born Steven James Anderson on December 18, 1964, later Steven James Williams), better known by his ring name "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, is an American actor, producer, and retired professional wrestler who is signed to WWE as of February 2016.
He gained significant mainstream popularity in the WWE (then known as the WWF) in the late 1990s as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, a disrespectful, beer-drinking antihero who routinely defied the establishment and his boss, company chairman Mr. McMahon; this persona of Austin's has been described as the "poster boy" of the Attitude Era, a boom period in WWF business in the late 1990s and early 2000s and was one of the biggest factors in helping the WWE win the ratings war against there competition World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Addressing his box office drawing power, McMahon and former WWE executives Jim Ross and Paul Heyman have declared Austin to be the most profitable wrestler in the history of the organization. Ross asserted: "Nobody touches Austin... No-one generated more cash in the length of their WWE career". Industry veterans and multiple-time WWE Champions Ric Flair, John Cena and CM Punk have each named Austin as the biggest star in WWE history, and, along with McMahon, have stressed that he surpassed the popularity of Hulk Hogan. Austin also devised the long-standing "What?" chant in pro wrestling.

Flair is officially recognized by WWE, TNA, and Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) as a 16-time world champion (eight-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and two-time WWF Champion). The actual number of his world championship reigns varies by source, ranging from 16 to 25 titles. A major pay-per-view attraction throughout his career, he has main-evented WWE's premier annual event, WrestleMania, and participated in the closing singles match of the NWA/WCW equivalent, Starrcade, on nine occasions.PWI awarded Flair their Wrestler of the Year Award a record six times, while Wrestling Observer Newsletter named Flair as the Wrestler of the Year on nine occasions. A two-time inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame, first inducted in 2008 for his individual career and for a second time in 2012 as a member of the Four Horsemen, he is also an NWA Hall of Famer. In WCW, he also had two stints as a booker – from 1989–1990 and again in 1994.

As the match began, Rock battled Kane and Benoit fought with Undertaker. After taking down Kane and Benoit, Rock and Undertaker battled each other until they were attacked by Kane and Benoit. Christopher Benoit talks about people who start wrestling just because of money or their looks. interview by WrestleCast (Joel Ross and Simon Lilsboy) And it's not only the in-ring performance, a lot of the wrestlers really should work out more, look at Benoit, he wasn't just arguably the best technical wrestler ever but also extremely muscular and athletic and incredibly underrated on the mic, but still, wrestlers deserve respect regardless. And by the way, Linda Miles is one of the girls who won Tough Enough, maybe someone else should have won it instead, for example the incredibly athletic, tall and muscular Jake Sokoloff who could have been a huge star or Matthew Morgan who had to stop during the season due to an injury, WWE completely wasted him anyway.

John Hennigan talks about Christopher Benoit. interview by MOONSAULT.de (Kevin Scheuren) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efNTPJzUUuQ Chris Benoit was one of the absolute best and most respected wrestlers in the business and for good reasons and he's generally said to have been one of the nicest people in the world when he was alive, tons of wrestlers told stories on how Benoit would call them after they got released or had an injury or a surgery, way more than any person in wrestling would. Chris Benoit, when alive, was one of the most caring wrestlers ever, personal demons, concussions, a lot of his friends dying and other things we can only speculate about ruined him. I have no morals
Some think me cheap
And someone who despises
The normalcy of heartbreak
The purity of love
But I worship the young
And just formed angel
Who sits upon the pin of lust
Everything else
Bores me
I want to see your suicide
I want to see you give it up
Your life of reason
I want you on the floor
And in a coffin your soul shaking
I want to have you doubting
Every meaning you’ve amassed
Like a fortune
Oh throw it away
For worship someone
Who actively despises you
For worship someone
Who actively despises you
I am the root
I am the progress
I’m the aggressor
I am the tablet
