We believe that people come to a place to experience first and foremost the essence of the land and its culture. So we ensure that a Balinese culinary experience is at the forefront of our offering at Sanak.

Bali’s best produce, service to die for and a small but perfectly executed wine list…hmmm…need we say more. The heart of our retreat will not disappoint. A highlight will be the produce sourced from our very own ‘beyond organic’ vegetable patch, rice fields and next, from the finest purveyors across Bali with wild crafted, vegan and sustainably farmed dishes clearly noted on our ever -changing menu.

Not only will we offer traditional Indonesian fare, but the odd twist will sometimes come into play. We understand the comforts of home and have taken particular care to select comfort food from around the globe delivering an array of experiences that surprise and delight on a daily basis which is on our daily blackboard….the communal kitchen table vibe with a focus on shared dishes will be the perfect excuse to sit for hours and graze through our menu. If there is something from home you simply crave yet it isn’t on the menu, simply ask and SANAK will do their best to deliver.

Sanak Bar

What will truly set our little bar apart will be a condensed but considered array of unusual botanical infusions and instillations inspired by local produce. There simply won’t be a better way to cap off a day by the pool or an evening of play than by sitting back and imbibing in this atmospheric little hub that looks over the pool and oozes eclectic style.

Private Dining / Picnics

Private dining /picnics are available in handpicked locations on the property, in your bungalow or within the surrounding local area with your very own private chef and waiter. We are here to make your dreams become a reality or have a chat with our team for some inspiration. Private BBQ’s to the perfect picnic in bed…we love a challenge.

Patchwork pool

Laze by our infinity edge, freshwater, patchwork pool. Picture hand painted umbrellas and comfy campaign style sun-loungers with poolside service for those who don’t want to move. Enjoy, fluffy pool towels, complimentary cold water and endless views of the green landscape and mountains. There is a platform in the pool for the younger ones to ensure they swim safe.

Living Room and Cultured Kids Corner

Our upstairs living room and kids creative corner is packed with the latest novels in French and English, magazines, board games for adults and children. There is a Television too for those who can’t do without. Just make yourself at home and help yourself to whatever you like. This is a gorgeous upstairs space to relax, during the afternoon or early morning.

Petanque

For those who love the classical French game of Petanque, we have a lovely area for people to gather and play. This is available on a complimentary basis all day long.
