It was a great experience for me, it's the five-star hotel for lipizzaner horses. The place is about traditions and of course horses. The park is huge and beautiful. The guided tours are fairly good, but the tickets are expensive and the program schedule is a bit confusing and not easy to choose and go on the appropriate day. The... More
Beautiful show horses. Very interesting tour through the stables and hearing the history of the horses, how they are bred, trained, and their lives. The show at the end was fantastic. A bit far to get to, but well worth it.
The drive up to the place is like out of a fairy tale! Then you see a beautiful herd of white horses grazing a little further on. Beautiful half (or full) day trip
What beautiful horses and so in tune with their rider. I would suggest to book in advance. This is a superb show with a guided tour of the stables and grounds, a chance to get close to these lovely horses.
If you want an experiance pure with Lipizzan horses, you're on the right place. After renewing whole place and after upgrading some things like new Lipica Guide (GooglePlay or for iphones) this is the place you have to visit it. If you have the opportunity and luck to see their school of riding, don't hesitate and take a show. Prices... More
Lipica is really one of the places everyone should visit while being in Slovenia. Beautiful horses, beautiful countryside. I recommend also taking ride with horses.
The stud farm is very big and nice, the horses are lovely. On the other side you have to pay 16 euros for the entrance. They said that there are free guided tours in every language, but after waiting in the meeting point for about half an hour (as we were told) only the Slovenian tour started. The same person... More
We arrived about 4 pm and got to see all the mares running past us back to their barn for the evening. That was the best part of the visit. We were too late to see the young horses because they were brought in earlier. We did have a guide that spoke perfect English. We did not see any horses... More
This would be perfect place if would be a bit more taken care of. The entrance fee is acceptable in terms of the absolute value, but once you consider what you get for how much you pay it is absolutely too much. The staff is nice & friendly; place is clean and tidy; and the horses are kept very well.... More
These horses are bred to perform for the royalty. They are so beautiful and seemed tamed. It is definitely worth visiting them.
