I've seen a depressing number of these but I didn't save the links--can people share with me articles from Democrats/liberals saying that DeVos's rule is a victory for due process? Want to have a few examples for my article pointing out how wrong they are.

The threat posed by the far right has to be taken seriously. That doesn’t mean humor can’t be a tactic used against them. Think people in banana suits messing up the image neo-Nazi marches want to portray.

“I did this on purpose to frighten and intimidate her into giving me what I wanted. This was controlling, abusive, and wrong, and I need help holding myself accountable.” Thanks for not falling for the himpathy trap. If only abusers would actually take accountability this way.

Abusers writes advice column seeking validation for abuse. Advice columnist tells it like it is: “My wife and I talked about having children recently, and when the conversation didn’t go my way, I threw away her birth control pills and left the empty case where she could see it.”

I can't believe decided not to waive the continuing student fee for upper-year Ph.D. candidates during this pandemic. They provided zero financial support, insisted on specific justifications for work delays, and are billing a $700 fee when they should be offering aid.

great ending note from on just now. male supremacists will claim women's perspectives are given unfair weight, but actually engaging with the media produced about inc*l culture reveals violent men and their stated intentions are often taken at face value.

This has definitely been in my thoughts; with I've increasingly moved to referring to "supremacist" studies--white supremacist, male supremacist, cis supremacist, cis male white supremacist... Our analysis spans acts of mass violence to everyday gender-based violence.

Closing out the first day of conference. Speaking about white supremacism, keynote speaker just asked “what if the far is near; what if extremism is the norm?”

At conference: Appreciate emphasis that white supremacy is everywhere, not just in fringe movements. Researchers of right-wing are often asked "why does it matter? Aren't they extremists?" Their ideologies are based in the broader culture
