What happens when you win lotto?

It's a dream for many but only a handful of lucky people will get to experience the process of what happens if you come across those winning numbers.

There were also 31 division two prize winners in WA who will take home $8,232.40 each.

The winning numbers were 23, 20, 39, 16, 35, 28, while the supplementary numbers for the draw were 27 and four.

Lotterywest posted a congratulatory message on social media following the draw.

"Congratulations WA! Saturday Lotto Superdraw success struck South Perth and Canning Vale tonight. Each Division 1 prize is worth $4.2 million. A big thanks to all our players too. You helped us raise over $4 million for the local community," they posted.

In the mean time, Lotterywest are urging Rockingham locals to check their tickets after a mystery millionaire scooped $1.3 million in the Saturday Lotto Superdraw on February 18.

Rockingham Central Lottery Centre owner Marie Alexander said the mystery millionaire was the talk of the town. "Everyone's been talking about it, almost every customer that walks in," Ms Alexander said.

"We've been encouraging everyone to double check every nook and cranny to make sure they don't have a ticket hiding anywhere."
