TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION AUSTRALIA

Toyota is Australia's market leader, holding 18 percent of total vehicle sales, a position it has held for more than 10 continuous years.

Since the badge first appeared in Australia in 1958 with the SWB LandCruiser, this global giant, the world's largest car company, has gone from strength to strength.

Although it is to close its Australian Altona plant in 2017, it maintains a strong export market for the locally built Camry, Camry Hybrid and Aurion. In fact, Toyotas have been manufactured here since 1963 - production now running to millions of vehicles.

Toyota offers the widest range of passenger and 'working vehicles', each with an unassailable reputation for quality and very strong resale values. Corolla and HiLux regularly top annual vehicle sales, and the LandCruiser is an icon for rugged reliability.
