Singer Cheryl Cole, 33, has welcomed her first child with One Direction's Liam Payne, 23.
The former Girls Aloud singer made the announcement on Instagram ahead of Mother's Day in the UK (March 26), posting a snap to her 3.1 million fans of Payne cradling the baby boy.
"On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream," Cole captioned the pic.
She added that the baby didn't yet have a name, but "he is already stealing hearts."
"We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever," she wrote, before signing off with a heart emoji.
Payne also shared the photo to his own Instagram account, writing that he was "speechless".
"I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far."
Payne also paid tribute to Cole, writing that he was "completely in awe" of her. "[S]he's really made my dreams come true," he said.
The pair first met in 2010 when Payne auditioned for The X Factor, on which the former Girls Aloud singer was a judge. The pair later reconnected and went public with their romance in February last year, weeks after Cole split from her French restaurateur husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
The couple kept the pregnancy a secret for much of the pregnancy, with Cole confirming the pregnancy with a photoshoot for L'Oreal in which she cradled a baby bump.
