Eric Trump and wife Lara are expecting their first child in September

And the Trump empire continues to expand.

Eric Trump, the second son of President Trump, is expecting a son with wife Lara in September, according to an interview the couple gave People magazine.

This is the first child for the 33-year-old executive vice president of the Trump Organisation. Big brother Don Jr. has five and big sister Ivanka has three. So Trump will have no lack of unsolicited parenting advice. Plus, there's also that book his mother is writing.

Just in time for her ninth grandchild's arrival, Ivana Trump, the first of the president's three wives, is releasing a book titled Raising Trump, "a non-partisan, non-political book about motherhood, strength, and resilience," according to Simon & Schuster.

According to their People interview, Eric and Lara found out the good news on the real estate executive's birthday, January 6, which means the president has been keeping a lid on that state secret since arriving in Washington. Not an easy task for the tweeter-in-chief.

"Eric's dad was so excited," said Lara Trump, a former TV producer, "that we were worried he'd blurt it out at a press conference."
