After a quick half-year of squat-hopping, sitting around and organising elsewhere, some of us involved in the previous four issues teamed up with others and knocked-together a fifth. Bloomington, Indiana: Sabotage in memory of Lambros Foundas (USA)

A few nights ago we sabotaged about 50 parking meters by gluing their locks, coin slots, and card readers. This was a simple act which took no specialized skill. Get some superglue, cover your face, keep your eyes peeled for cops or loyal citizens, and act.
These parking meters were targeted because they fund the Bloomington Police Department and because they force people to pay to be downtown. We hate the police and we hate gentrification and class society, so we chose to attack them.
We act as a gesture of combative memory for Lambros Foundas, anarchist of Revolutionary Struggle killed by the forces of the Greek state on March 10, 2010. Our memory is not one of passive mourning or martyrdom, but of active struggle against the state, capital, and domination in all of its forms. The flame of Lambros’ life kept us warm as we walked through the winter night, and we will carry that flame with us in all parts of our lives, which are lived at war with this society of masters and slaves.
We send strength to all anarchist combatants held captive in the dungeons of the Greek state.
We send solidarity to all those facing the state’s latest attacks against squatters, anarchists, and refugees: we are inspired by your refusal to be paralyzed.

Athens, Greece – Demo Against Evictions Of Squats Attacked By Cops

Today the the ‘left-wing’ Syriza government revealed once more its total capitulation and authoritarianism by evicting two squats in Athens, Greece. More than 200 people were detained during the evictions, with about 100 of them being released again. Refugees with papers were released, while “non-citizens” without papers will be sent to hotspots/camps. The Greek state also raided a self-organized center in the city of Agrinio. The cops vandalized the venue and stole 600€. Several thousand people protested in Athens against the evictions where clashes broke out after cops attacked the demonstration with tear gas.

A black mantle. A great unknown. Something that has been frightening me lately: the future. Up until now it had had quite a pragmatic role in my life. It forced me to arm myself with means such as planning, efficiency and calculation so as to be able to shape my revolutionary everyday life as well as possible. Only rarely did I stop to think about the future, or feel uneasy or frightened by it. Of course such feelings overwhelmed me at times, when I allowed the madness of this world to overcome me or when my life was touched by some crucial event. But I always told myself that it’s pointless hiding one’s head in the sand.

Germany-[update] Aachen: Summary of the fifth hearing
During today’s session two street cleaners testified that on the day of the robbery they found a bag in the vicinity of the bank. One of them didn’t even see what was inside and barely testified. The other, upon emptying it in his cleaning cart, saw that there was a gun inside and warned the police. He was not certain whether there had been a sports bag with a plastic bag inside or whether there had been two bags.
The two cops that responded to the street cleaner’s call and who closed off the area surrounding the bank following the robbery, also took the stand. They said that they did not touch the bag and that one of the street cleaners had done so (with work gloves).
Furthermore, the judge has read various forensic reports concerning the material that was inside the bank (tools, tie-wraps, a cutter that contained a finger print, etc.) and a report to determine whether the traces found on the safe and on the entrance door to the apartment (adjacent to the bank and the worker’s entrance) coincided with the tools found inside the bank. This last report is not conclusive.
The next session will take place on the 2nd of March at 09.00.

Spain , Barcelona: Attack in solidarity with anarchists imprisoned in Aachen
On the night of January 28, we burned two vehicles of the company Prosegur near their headquarters in the Bellvitge neighborhood of Hospitalet. We do not think it necessary to justify this attack on these wretched guard dogs.
To carry out this action we have resorted to an old, well known method used by anarchists. The device consists of a small bottle filled with gasoline, a wick with some matches around it.
We want with this little gesture to send all our love and strength to the anarchists accused of having expropriated a bank in Aachen and who have been on trial since January 23rd.

International call out April 17-23, 2017 for decentralized actions in solidarity with comrades accused of bank-robbery in Aachen
In 2015, a comrade from Amsterdam was arrested. She was accused of having participated in a robbery in 2013 against the Aachener bank in Aachen. After a few months spent in preventive and several weeks of trial, she was finally acquitted and released. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that the Aachen Prosecutor’s Office will appeal this verdict and go to the revision court.
In April and June 2016, two other comrades, this time from Barcelona, were arrested and incarcerated by the spanish state, accused by the same prosecution office of having participated in another bank robbery. The two were then extradited to germany in June 2016, where they have since been under the U-Haft regime (investigative preventive prison). The trial against them began in January 2017 in the Aachen Justice complex and it is scheduled to run until May 22, 2017.
It does not come as a surprise to us that those who oppose and fight against the misery of this world forged on domination are attacked, prosecuted and punished. We are not interested in discussing about guilt or innocence, it is the language that belongs to our enemies and we refuse it. Our enemies follow the logic of separation and categorization of individuals, in order to then have the possibility of locking up the undesirables. We share with the accused comrades an aversion to this system, and towards the prison system which perpetuates the distinction between good citizens and those who deserve to be punished.

It has been five months since I returned to inhabit the cells of the Maximum Security Section of the High Security Prison and I think it is necessary to refer to both the personal and the prison scenario. The reasons for not writing before are obviously personal; but more than anything it is due to the belief – despite being convinced that sharing experiences generates inexhaustible links – that the virtual platforms and their set of communications is far removed from the real and approaches an abstract idea of the day to day life of jail and that of the individual. Irreducible? Yes, whether or not there is a swing of emotions, neither conviction nor mind falters, but that disgusting idea of the steel martyr behind the bars must fall. We will not hesitate to speak about Lambros Foundas, despite the asphyxiating ringer that the governmental repression wants to create.
It is difficult to accept that we will never see comrade Lambros again.
The vibrations of his social and individual action and the continuous consistency and continuity in conscience, the life attitude, social solidarity, the collective struggles and the multiform action rendered him always dangerous for every authority and the state. A dangerous enemy of the state and every dominating mechanism, an individual with a passion for freedom, that penetrated the thought of everyone that was near him, a friend close to the heart of those who fought with him. He dissolved with the depth of his thought and his attitude hallucinations and self-delusions. To walk along together with comrade and friend Lambros was a process of anarchy and freedom, a process of deep human knowledge and freedom.
This is why they could never “strike him in the mind”. His sensitivity for each person that needed solidarity took the dimension of a daily behaviour, attitude of life, revolt, of a dynamic blow against the state, the relations of imposition and the relations of exploitation of people by people.
There are certain people so old that it seems they come from the future. Because, those of who stood side by side and together with Lambros had the conscience that in “our time” we had to give a battle with an enormous depth in the time of history, with continuous fights and conflicts for the liberation from the dominating bonds.
A history so long that it made us already touch upon a step further, constantly, with dignity and self-activity, breaking the ringer of fear that they manufacture and lurks, experiencing the need of anarchy.
In any case, Lambros Foundas lives in the flaming hearts of those who fight continuously for dignity and freedom.
The memory of the rebels that die is incarnated in our small and big revolts.

Free at Last! Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar onto the Streets! – SANTIAGO, CHILE
SANTIAGO – Chilean Anarchists, Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar, arrived this morning at Santiago’s International Airport, after having been expulsed from Spanish custody and deported back to their home country.
Monica and Francisco had been charged under Spanish Anti-terrorism legislation for the alleged bombing of the Basilica del Pilar Church in Zaragoza, on Oct 2nd, 2013, and were arrested a month after the incident. Spanish prosecution initially sought a 44 year sentence for the accused, but instead received a 12 year sentence in 2014. The Defense took Monica and Francisco’s case to the Spanish Supreme Court, where the sentence was further reduced to 4 and a half years this past December, having dropped one of the initial charges. At the time, the Spanish Supreme Court recognized that the intent of the bombing was to cause structural damage to a religious symbol and thus were charged for loses and damages.

On the social, racist and patriarchal problems faced by women in prison
It is generally well known that German society is rife with inequality. The upper classes are secure and cared for, they have no existential concerns and, despite all the wider problems of the world, they are able to offer their children a promising future which is not available to the under classes. Whilst a small minority of people are able to get richer, the majority are left to exist on the bare minimum, working for a shitty low wage and constantly being pushed towards pointless consumption so that the profit driven system that we live in can continue to function. While some sun themselves on their extravagantly expensive yachts in the Mediterranean, or get flown around the globe in their private jets, many cannot afford to go on holiday once in their lives, or to pay their rent or electricity bill or to buy a couple of new teeth. While the super-rich save their abundant wealth from taxes by securing it in off-shore tax havens or mailbox companies, for which they never face any serious judicial proceedings, the poor are doing months or years in prison for fines or petty crimes- for sums of money that the rich spend in minutes on a daily basis.

Berlin, Germany – Attack against Securitas in the context of the Global Anarchist Urban Guerrilla

On the evening of the 28th of February, six Securitas (private security company) vehicles were torched at Anhalter railway station. Securitas have been gaurding the entry to the occupied school on Ohlauer Strasse in Kreuzberg, Berlin for two years, forcing the remaining refugees to a jail-like existence. Through constant displays and harassment of the residents, their number has been constantly reduced – many have disappeared in jail, have been deported or have a house ban.
If we were able to identify more deeply with society’s slaves we would now complain that ‘guarding’ costs millions of euros for taxpayers. But no. Then we would have to complain about the bad working conditions in the security sector. On the contrary we are working on the destruction of the bridges of this society, which are still being preserved via the security sector in order to integrate even the partly autonomous milieus with reluctant practice.
