ACA NEOGEO METAL SLUG

Originally released in 1996 this game looks and plays as good as you remember. The controls are wonderfully executed and the challenge is perfect. You can set a bevy of options that will allow everyone of all skill levels to enjoy a single succesful playthrough of the game. It is fun and relaxing for an old school gamer like me to play through in a single sitting. Always improving on my high scores which get posted to leaderboards online. I do wish the game had included online Co-op. The soundtrack and effects are magnificent and very hummable. The pixel graphics are some of my favorite and still look amazing. Buy this arcade classic now you wont regret it and find yourself coming back often for a quick destructive fun time.

I love metal slug so much and it sucks that the slowdown to practically 5 frames a second is constant throughout a 2 player session where even just starting a mission is unbelievably slow. until it gets fixed I see this as a waste of money and I was excited to play this coop. I hope something gets done to fix the issue.

9/10🍭🍭🍭 wish their was an option for online co-op.Too Clarify why the game's frame rate lowers at times.Its Done on purpose by the developers, too give you, the player a chance to avoid those 9000 shots, grenade's,etc .All Shoot em ups do it 😁

This game is fairly an easy way to get 1000 gamerscore if you buy it, but all and all, this is as classic as it gets for an old arcade series that is still loved to this day. The only gripe i give is that getting an achievement lags the game, and could potentially screw you over in your run that you're currently playing.

My favorite in the series. Enough zany without too crazy and difficulty is fair with practice vs other titles which become extremely cheap on killing players.

It's really fun especially the "high score mode", and the controls are slick and very responsive, Very nice and easy navigation through the menu is a plus, But alas there are some issues, it drops to about 2 fps when there are alot enemies or explosions, and thats not good for such a fast paced game. This is definitely a classic and i recommend purchasing it if you can get past the minor frame drops here and there.

Metal Slug is legendary. Easy to pick up and play. Hard to master. Now I don't have much experience with Metal Slug 1, but I've been a fan of the series since around six years old. This version is pretty nice. Not the smoothest port but hey it's Metal Slug. Shooting up and down while jumping is strange. I'm not sure if it's the port, but it's slightly annoying since that's really one of the main ways of shooting. All other Metal Slugs don't have this problem. My only big gripe, really. Metal Slug is also the easiest in the series. Not a bad thing but it depends. The mode select screen is super rough and awkward. No biggy just a tad annoying. All in all it's great fun. Give it a shot. 3.5/5 [UPDATE] (The game tends to crash pretty frequent. Mostly when looking at leaderboards. Game is great but the port is held together by tape) + It's METAL SLUG!! + Classic 2D greatness + Straight forward - Controls could use a few tweaks - Easy compared to others in the series - Port is rough

Pretty good port of the game but still suffers from slowdown but not as bad as metal slug 2. I think an update can fix that then ill update rating.Update got two achivements glitched so rating went down to two stars please fix asap.
