This is what my lovely wife made for pudding tonight:

Guh. And, indeed, om nom nom. And people wonder why I am putting on weight! For those of you who are in the area, there is just less than half of it left, and if you hurry...

My paid LJ account runs out on the 8th of August. I will not be renewing. I will also be reverting to a non-sponsored account because I detest advertising. This are meaning several things:
  1. My LJ account, to which DW posts get imported, will no longer have paid account features - extry icons, etc.

  2. I will no longer have image hosting at my LJ

It shouldn't affect anything content-wise, as far as I am aware. So why does this matter to you? Well, I want you to rec me an image hosting provider. I have a few criteria:
  1. I need to be able to use it to post images here

  2. It must be free. I can't afford to spend money on internetty things right now.

  3. I should preferably be able to easily port images over from the LJ Scrapbook, so that I can sort out the storage I will need before Scrapbook goes down

  4. Uploading and labelling and things like that should be easy, for I am lazy

So, Mister Mat gave me a lovely phone call (in which there was talk of Barbara Castle and Single Transferable Vote and other such sexy topics - man, that boy knows how to turn me on!) and while we were getting towards the end of it, [livejournal.com profile] shrublette told him all about falling over and skinning her knee while walking the dog. Then we went to play Scrabble for a bit. She has got the idea of pulling seven letters out of the bag and then placing them on the board, even though she doesn't know ALL the letters' names yet, and she can only spell her name and mummy and byron.

I think the picture tells the rest of the story very well indeed, even if it is a bit grainy:

I was most amused by the middle line of letters.

ETA:
Byron: *scratchscratchscratch*
Shrub: What's Byron doing?
* pause *
Shrub (in disapproving tones): Oh! He's scratching his arse!
MAY need to try and modify her language a bit before she starts at Christian School...

* guilty expression *
