miss_s_b: (Mood: Oh dear)
There's a message floatin'
In the air.
Tory Voters talkin' everywhere.
"We're not racist and we
Like the poor.
It's not those things that we're
Votin' for"

"Yes we know disabled people are going to die, yeah.
It's all worth it if we only stop that Labour guy"
Tory Voters
Tory Voters
Tory Voters

Never stop and they
Never die.
As they get older they just multiply.
Tory Voters, will they
Never halt?
If they keep votin' that way
It's our fault.

We need to show they there's another way, yeah.
You don't need to vote tory to make Labour pay.
Tory Voters
Tory Voters
Tory Voters

So take a good look around,
See what they've done, what they've done,
They've done,
They've done,
They've done,
They've done.

Tory Voters
Tory Voters
Tory Voters
Tory Voters

ETA: Other things that need winkling out of my head are something to the tune of All Things Bright and Beautiful which involves the lines "Strong and Stable government" and "Labour, green and liberal/The tories hate us all"; and, for the magnificent John Skipworth, and possibly other people who do arduous and thankless things for the party "You're once, twice, three times an agent... and we loooovvve you"

Sittin' in the defendant's chair
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' comes
Watchin' witnesses in
Then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
I'm sittin' in the dock in The Hague
Watchin' my lies peel away, ooo
I'm just sittin' in the dock in The Hague
Wastin' time

I left my home in Sefton
Headed into parliament
'Cause I had conflict to shill for
Looked like they were gonna vote my way
Now I'm just sittin' in the dock in The Hague
Watchin' my lies peel away, ooo
I'm sittin' in the dock in The Hague, wastin' time

Look like nothin's gonna change
Everything, still remains the same
I can't do what those Lib Dems tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same, yes

Sittin' here restin' my bones
And my guiltiness won't leave me alone, yes
Ten thousand miles, I roamed
Just to make this dock my home
Now I'm just gonna sit in the dock in The Hague
Watchin' my lies peel away, ooo yea
Sittin' in the dock in The Hague
Wastin' time

So last night's dreams involved rescuing Brian May from badger cullers and hiding him in the space under the sofa (leading to Dream!SarahBrownCambridge asking me if I still had a guitarist in my sofa at one point)... ANYWAY. One thing one would obviously do if one had Brian in the sofa house would be to filk Queen songs. Allow me to present Dreamer's Poll:

Oh I used to be your MP
Used to be your pride and joy
I used to represent you
Just like any other boy
But now you've found another candidate
And left me like a broken toy

Oh it's someone else you're meeting
Someone else you're votin' for
Honey though it's fleeting
Know just what I have to do
If you don't like me when you're wakin'
I'll go to sleep and dream that you do

Oh take me take me take me
To the dreamer's poll
I'll be right on time
And I'll dress so fine
You're gonna vote for me when you see me
I won't have to worry
Take me take me
Promise not to wake me till it's morning
It's all been true

(etc)

Anyhoo, I have an action day to get to. Laters!

I got a text message from the guy at the pub who took my laptop away for possible mending. The graphics chip on the motherboard is gone, but everything else is fine, and it'll be a new chip and a bit of delicate soldering, and how does £60 and a couple of pints sound?

How does it sound?

I'm going to get my baby back? for a mere £60?

WOO-HOO!!!

* happy dance *

Of course, I don't actually HAVE £60, but I'm sure I can sell one of the dogs, or something.
