Lori Lee is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Michelle Ang. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 20 November 2002. Ang departed in 2003, but returned the following year to reprise her role. She made her last screen appearance as Lori on 20 November 2004.
Neighbours' casting director, Jan Russ, was looking at New Zealand actors, when Ang went for an audition. Ang received a callback a few months later. She was nineteen when she joined the cast of Neighbours as Lori and she had to move to Melbourne for filming. Ang became one of the first Asian actors to receive a prominent role in the show.
Ang quit Neighbours in 2003 to go back to New Zealand to complete a commerce and science university degree. In April 2004, she returned to reprise her role as Lori. Of her return she said, "It felt a bit strange at first, but it is really like stepping into a pair of old shoes. [..] I quickly settled back in and it's easier when you're working with your old castmates because they help you out as well."
Lee Phillips (or Philips) may refer to:
Grant-Lee Phillips (born Bryan G. Phillips, September 1, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Born in Stockton, California, Phillips began playing the guitar in his early teens and persevered throughout high school. At age 19, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked tarring roofs to fund evening classes at UCLA and the possibility of forming a band at weekends. He eventually dropped out of college and linked up with an old friend from Stockton named Jeffery Clark. In the late 1980s, Phillips lived on campus at CalArts with future wife Denise Siegel, whom he met at a party through a fellow student and first Shiva Burlesque bassist, James Brenner. Phillips informally took art classes, went to public lectures and film screenings, and immersed himself in the constant goings on of the school's World Music program until 1990. Shiva Burlesque released two LPs Shiva Burlesque (Nate Starkman & Son; 1987) before work on Mercury Blues (Fundamental; 1990). Brenner was replaced by Paul Kimble thus completing what would be the basis of Grant-Lee Buffalo. But due to the late '80s/early '90s Los Angeles obsession with spandex and glam metal, Shiva Burlesque made no commercial impact. Phillips and Clark disbanded in 1990. Phillips began playing solo around Los Angeles under the stage name Grant-Lee Buffalo.
Margaret Moran Cho (born December 5, 1968) is an American comedian, actress, fashion designer, author, and singer-songwriter. Cho is best known for her stand-up routines, through which she critiques social and political problems, especially regarding race and sexuality. She has created music videos and has her own clothing line of crotchless underwear for men and women. Cho has also frequently supported LGBT rights and has won awards for her humanitarian efforts on behalf of women, Asians, and the LGBT community.
As an actress, she has acted in such roles as Charlene Lee in It's My Party and John Travolta's FBI colleague in the action movie Face/Off. Cho was part of the cast of the TV series Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime Television, in which she appeared as Teri Lee, a paralegal assistant.
Cho was born into a Korean family in San Francisco, California. She grew up in a racially diverse neighborhood in the 1970s and 1980s, which she described as a community of "old hippies, ex-druggies, burn-outs from the '60s, drag queens, Chinese people, and Koreans. To say it was a melting pot — that's the least of it. It was a really confusing, enlightening, wonderful time."

"Numb" cover by Lori Lee Bulloch A long time ago, someone released a cover of this song claiming it was me. Well, it wasn't, and I tried and tried to get that taken down, but it still is floating around online, and people ask me about it all the time. Although I am flattered that someone feels the need to impersonate me, I would rather materials with my name on it come only from me, because I like to keep it real. And to the person who actually anonymously recorded that song, there is no reason to be ashamed! Just stay true to yourself. You don't need to hide who you are--embrace it. Here is my version, and settling the score once and for all, this is the first and only time I will cover this song. Enjoy! Love, Lori xoxo Follow Lori on Twitter @LoriLeeBulloch

One of my first VFX Supervisor jobs for Digital Domain, with Nick Robertson directing. This commercial was shot in Yunnan Province in southern China, as well as in Shanghai. The Yunnan shoot took place on some scary mountain roads that lacked guardrails or shoulders, and of course it was at night... without work lights! In post, we ended up heavily augmenting the car with a CG version, and replaced many of the backgrounds with matte paintings. Chris Duncan supplied the city-scape paintings, and Ron Crabb designed and painted the suburban house at the end. Lisa Tomei and Jeff Heusser rocked the Flame, Joel Behrens comped in Nuke, Lee Carlton CG Supervised, and Michael Lori did our tracking (somehow using my terrible survey data). I've uploaded a version of the spot with the origin...
Last year, I sent Nick Jaina an email asking if I could use his song, A Narrow Way, in my short movie, Nothing for Me. He said yes, and it worked out well. A few months later, Nick sent me an email asking if I could help him make a music video for a song on his upcoming album. I said yes, and it worked out well. Here's the video for Sleep, Child, from the album A Bird in the Opera House. I directed, Eric Petrie shot, Matt Jacobs edited, and everyone did a fantastic job. See below for complete credits and thank yous. If you don't know, Nick Jaina is an amazing Portland musician with an amazing band. Check them out next time they play live, and buy the album. Health consumerism in the modern sense speaks to patients’ involvement in their own healthcare decisions. How does this concept apply to enslaved laborers in the antebellum South? Anthropologist Lori Lee’s study of enslaved African Americans in central Virginia looks at the degree of access they had to resources that shaped their health and well-being experiences. The nature of health and illness is multilayered. It is influenced by an individual’s personal experience with their physical body, including their mind; by how the body is socially represented in various symbolic and metaphorical forms; and by regulation, surveillance, and control of one’s reproduction and sexuality, work and leisure, and sickness. Lee’s presentation uses this multi-layered approach to explore practices of healt...

April 14, 2015 "The Steel Crown: Indigenous Responses to Exploration" Exploration involves the investigation of unknown regions. Unknown, that is, to explorers. Yet most of these regions were both known and inhabited by indigenous peoples. Exploration resulted in various scales of interaction between Western and indigenous peoples. This lecture will examine indigenous responses to exploration at varying scales by drawing on case studies from North America, Africa, and South America.
All the different, noisy, loud and harsh
Voices in my head, they follow me, to break me down
Oh I can't resist a single one, tempting me to stay, to see,
To give and I obey
When I change my mind
They are holding on to me and
Pushing me into water,
Cold and dark and beautiful
I am not alone,
They are with me in my time of need,
In me
Quiet is the tempting sea and beautiful
Her dark and cold embrace
Peacefully I breathe the need to be with her
And taste her grace
Quiet is the tempting sea and beautiful
Her dark and cold embrace
Peacefully I breathe the need to be with her
And taste her grace
First I thought that I might waste my life
Listening to the voices in my head I don't resist.
But with every day I know there is
Something more behind each wasted life
So I obey.
When I change my mind
They are holding on to me and
Pushing me into water,
Cold and dark and beautiful
I am not alone,
They are with me in my time of need,
In me
Quiet is the tempting sea and beautiful
Her dark and cold embrace
Peacefully I breathe the need to be with her
And taste her grace
Quiet is the tempting sea and beautiful
Her dark and cold embrace
Peacefully I breathe the need to be with her
