Frame rate, also known as frame frequency, is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device displays consecutive images called frames. The term applies equally to film and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate is expressed in frames per second (FPS).
The human eye and its brain interface, the human visual system, can process 10 to 12 separate images per second, perceiving them individually. The threshold of human visual perception varies depending on what is being measured. When looking at a lighted display, people begin to notice a brief interruption of darkness if it is about 16 milliseconds or longer. Observers can recall one specific image in an unbroken series of different images, each of which lasts as little as 13 milliseconds. When given very short single-millisecond visual stimulus people report a duration of between 100 ms and 400 ms due to persistence of vision in the visual cortex. This may cause images perceived in this duration to appear as one stimulus, such as a 10 ms green flash of light immediately followed by a 10 ms red flash of light perceived as a single yellow flash of light. Persistence of vision may also create an illusion of continuity, allowing a sequence of still images to give the impression of motion.
A frame is a structural system that supports other components of a physical construction.

Freddie Wong (born September 13, 1985) is an American filmmaker, musician, VFX artist and competitive gamer. He is a major part of the YouTube channel RocketJump. He is the older brother of actor and YouTuber Jimmy Wong.
Wong attended Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington. He then attended and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Wong owns and manages Overcrank Media, a Los Angeles-based media production company specializing in feature film and online video content, having produced an independent film titled Bear. Wong met his future collaborator Brandon Laatsch in college.
Wong competed in the World Series of Video Games in Dallas in July 2007. He won first prize in the Guitar Hero 2 competition, playing the song "Less Talk More Rokk" by Freezepop.
During MTV's "Gamer's Week" celebration in November 2007, Freddie appeared as a guest on Total Request Live. Participating in the program with his newly formed band Hellanor Brozevelt, Wong was part of a country-wide search to find the best Rock Band ensemble. After receiving tutelage from well-known rockers Good Charlotte, Brozevelt performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York against Chicago-based Carrie Me Home.
Extra Credits is a video lesson series presented by game designer James Portnow, animator/narrator Daniel Floyd, and artists Allison Theus, Elisa "LeeLee" Scaldaferri, Scott DeWitt, and Dan Jones. The series of videos discuss issues pertinent to video games and game studies, particularly discussing issues concerning video game development, addressing the legitimacy of video games as art, and creating intellectual discourse on important issues in gaming culture.
The series was developed directly from a series of lecture videos by Floyd and Portnow, informally known as "Video Games And...", which ran sporadically from February 17, 2008 to April 16, 2010.
The series originally aired on The Escapist from July 28, 2010 to August 10, 2011, before being split off over a financial dispute. Between September 7, 2011 and December 31, 2013, the show aired on PATV, a distribution channel hosted by Penny Arcade, whose downsizing of partner services after the latter date was cited as the reason for the show's subsequent "move" to YouTube, where the show is currently aired. In addition, the episodes have been syndicated on many websites, including ScrewAttack and the creators' own EC Network.

All moving video is really composed of a sequence of still images, or frames. The rate at which we change those frames determines how smooth the motion looks. In film, the standard frame rate is 24fps, but that's actually a slow rate which creates effects like motio...

In this simple video I will explain what does the term 'frame rate' mean? for those who don't know what it is, it isn't something complicated, but if you wanna know more about how videos work, you must know what video frames are. You probably heard the word "frames" somewhere. This technique is still the same even years ago since the very first film was produced. But it transformed from physical, to digital. It's still the same technique though. Moving images that create a video. But not just video frames that make up motion, in video games as well. It's all the same thing in video games but the reason video games take some power out of your computer, is because of the high 3D graphics every frame that is processed, contains a ton of high resolution environments, characters, textures, and ...

Living in hell and rot for good?
Why the fuck
You're still loitering then,
Back to hell where you belong.
Existence, not wanted,
Pathetic pile of disgrace.
Sick and tired, ego filled,
New generation?
You don't belong.
An old timer
But pure assholes breed.
Be gone, you fucking failure,
Fuck you
