Zef is a South African counter-culture movement.
The word zef is an Afrikaans slang word, which roughly translates to the English word common. Also known as siff. Which means uncool in Afrikaans. It differs from the Australian term bogan and the British term chav in that it is mostly a positive term for oneself, rather than a derogatory term for someone else. It is also not typical of the poorest classes of the society, but rather a mostly white, lower-middle class subculture. Yolandi Visser of Die Antwoord is quoted as saying, "It's associated with people who soup their cars up and rock gold and shit. Zef is, you're poor but you're fancy. You're poor but you're sexy, you've got style."
The concept of "zef" originated in the 1960s and 1970s as a derogatory term to refer to working class whites, including residents of caravan parks. It is a shortening of the name of the Ford Zephyr motorcar that was popular worldwide from the 1950s to the 1970s. In South Africa, these cars were often customized with enhanced engines, tires and wheels. They were often owned by working-class people, especially from the then-upcoming East and West Rand areas of Johannesburg (due to gold mining activity and the rising price of gold after it was de-coupled from a fixed price of USD 35 per fine ounce). The average Zephyr driver, while relatively comfortable financially in the 70s, was still generally from a more working-class than elite or highly educated background, so owners of these cars were given the derogatory description of being "zef" (Zephyr owner) by middle-class and more well-to-do South Africans. Frikkie Lombard, editor of the Woordeboek van die Afrikaanse Taal, has explained zef as "something which is usually considered to be common, but nowadays has credibility."
Die Antwoord (pronounced [di'ɑnt.ʋoːrt], Afrikaans for "The Answer") is a South African rap-rave group formed in Cape Town in 2008. The group was formed by rappers Ninja and Yolandi Visser (often stylized as Vi$$er) and DJ Hi-Tek. Die Antwoord's image is based on a counterculture movement known as zef in South Africa, and incorporated elements of the work of photographer Roger Ballen.
Die Antwoord released their debut album, $O$ (2009), online for free and attracted international attention for their music video for "Enter the Ninja". After briefly signing with Interscope Records, in 2011 they founded their own label Zef Recordz, and released their second and third studio albums, Ten$Ion (2012) and Donker Mag (2014).
Die Antwoord's lead vocalist, Ninja, was part of the South African hip-hop scene for many years, fronting acts such as The Original Evergreen, MaxNormal.TV and The Constructus Corporation. Their debut album $O$ relates to their earlier work, specifically Good Morning South Africa. In the album, multiple tracks are sampled from, or are exact copies of songs on Good Morning South Africa, such as the "Rap Rave Megamix"-where the first glimpses of Jones' Ninja character was seen- were later reformed into the "Zef Side" video, and later "Beat Boy". Ninja told Rolling Stone, "Everything I did before Die Antwoord was me experimenting, messing around and trying to find Die Antwoord . . . everything before it was disposable. It was all throwaway."
A ninja (忍者) or shinobi (忍び) was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan. The functions of the ninja included: espionage, sabotage, infiltration, assassination and guerrilla warfare. Their covert methods of waging irregular warfare were deemed "dishonorable" and "beneath" the samurai-caste, who observed strict rules about honor and combat. The shinobi proper, a specially trained group of spies and mercenaries, appeared in the Sengoku or "warring states" period, in the 15th century, but antecedents may have existed in the 14th century, and possibly in the 12th century (Heian or early Kamakura era).
In the unrest of the Sengoku period (15th–17th centuries), mercenaries and spies for hire became active in the Iga Province and the adjacent area around the village of Kōga, and it is from the area's clans that much of our knowledge of the ninja is drawn. Following the unification of Japan under the Tokugawa shogunate (17th century), the ninja faded into obscurity. A number of shinobi manuals, often based on Chinese military philosophy, were written in the 17th and 18th centuries, most notably the Bansenshukai (1676).

Baby, you can call on me
Anytime that you feel the need
And I'll be there in a hurry
Givin' you the best of me
And baby, you know I keep it nice and warm to satisfy
Baby, you know that I am always hot for you
And if there's any kinda love that will exemplify
My sweetie, I have got that kinda love times two
Boy, I'll do you all night long
Do you anyway you want
I will do you all night long
I wanna please you
Don't wanna tease you
You can melt in my body
And I will slowly melt onto you
Caress your face in my valley
Let me feel the sweetness of you
And baby, you know I keep it special each and every time
I never do nothin' once and never quite the same
And baby, you know if there is anything you want from me
I will supply so you can have it your way
Boy, I'll do you all night long
Do you anyway you want
I will do you all night long
I wanna please you
Don't wanna tease you
Here's the vibe, there's candlelight
As I undress for you, baby
A sip of wine, we take our time
Then I undress you too
I look at you, you look at me
And then we both embrace
And then we just let nature take it's place
Boy, I'll do you all night long
Do you anyway you want
I will do you all night long
I wanna please you
Don't wanna tease you
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it anyway you want
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it with you all night long
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it anyway you want
I wanna please you
Don't wanna tease you
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it anyway you want
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it to you all night long
Do you anyway, any kinda way
Do it anyway you want
I wanna please you
Don't wanna tease you
All night, all night long
Do you anyway you want
Hey, yeah yeah
