Dan Single out of intensive care after third floor fall in Paris

Fashion designer Dan Single remains in a Paris hospital after falling from the third floor of a hotel last week.

A friend of the Ksubi jeans co-founder and Bondi socialite told Fairfax on Monday that he is now "out of intensive care" after being put in an induced coma following the fall.

The Daily Telegraph reports that he "shattered every bone from the bottom of his spine to his heels" after landing "feet first" from a window of the Grand Hotel Amour in the 10th arrondissement.

The 36-year-old is married to model Bambi Northwood-Blyth, 25, and has a 10-year-old son, Justice, with former partner, P.E. Nation designer, Pip Edwards.

A spokesperson for Single did not want to comment about his condition when contacted by Fairfax Media on Monday, while a representative for Northwood-Blyth has yet to respond.

Northwood-Blyth missed out on her sister Sophie's wedding over to the weekend, so she could remain by her husband's side.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday with a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower, she held a sweet note to send her best wishes to the happy couple.

"To my amazing sister Sophie and Volkan. Congratulations on your marriage. Sorry I can't be there. I am sending you millions of kisses and love and vibes and best wishes [through] the airways from Paris [kisses]. I love you."
