A new milestone for Canberra is expected to reached on Thursday, with the departure of the 100th international Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore.
Canberra Airport's managing director Stephen Byron said the successful launch of the Singapore-Canberra-Wellington flights on September 21 had put Canberra on the international travel map.
"We've been delighted by the enthusiasm of Canberra, Wellington and Singapore passengers for this new route," he said.
"Singapore's numerous attractions, the world-class hub of Changi Airport and its proximity to Asia, is proving popular with business and holiday visitors."
