CLSA healthcare sector analyst Zara Lyons has left the broker to join Goldman Sachs.

Street Talk understands Lyons will start at Goldman Sachs' Sydney office in mid-June, and will be responsible for leading coverage of Australian listed healthcare sector stocks.

Lyons won awards for her work at CLSA over the past 3½ years and previously covered healthcare and biotech at Nomura and RBS.

Goldman Sachs has also hired former UBS trader Adrian Longland to join its fixed income, currencies and commodities team.

Longland joins Goldman on June 12 after 10-years with UBS, and will specialise in rates sales.

Separately, CLSA announced it had hired Michael Verco to head equity capital markets for Australia and New Zealand on Monday.
