Police seek witnesses to home invasion at Manhattan Apartment unit

Three men in balaclavas broke into a Civic apartment last Tuesday, fighting with the two people inside before fleeing with cash.

The men broke into the unit at the Manhattan Apartments at about 9:50pm, police say.

The male occupant suffered head injuries and was taken to Canberra Hospital for treatment while the female occupant received minor injuries.

The three burglars were wearing balaclavas and dark clothing; two of them were described as caucasian in appearance.

ACT Health confirmed the male occupant had since been discharged from hospital.
