Informing and entertaining Australian school children for more than 45 years, Behind the News is a high-energy, fun way for upper primary and secondary students to learn about current issues and events in their world. Presented by Nathan Bazley, the program explains the big news events of the week and provides an engaging way for children to learn about what is happening in Australia and the world.
The website is packed with kids activities, related to each weekly program, as well as the latest stories from the program. There are also an extensive teacher's resources available online to assist with the activities and tips on how to expand on the issues dealt with in the program.

For 25 years John Clarke and Bryan Dawe have broadcast a weekly interview in which prominent figures speak about matters of public importance. John pretends to be someone he isn't pretending to be and Bryan behaves with grace under pressure. Foreign Correspondent has been Australia's leading international current affairs program since 1992. For more than 20 years reporters, producers, camera operators and sound recordists have travelled to just about every corner of the world - sometimes dangerous, often remote - in pursuit of stories that could be confronting and challenging, heart-warming and moving.
The program is broadcast on ABC on Tuesdays at 8pm (AEST) and on ABC News 24 on Saturdays at 6.30pm (AEST). You can also watch it on iview or from the Foreign Correspondent website.

Four Corners is Australia's premier television current affairs program and has been part of the national story for more than 50 years. Since August 1961 the program has been exposing scandals, triggering inquiries, firing debate, confronting taboos and interpreting fads, trends and sub-cultures.

Alan Kohler has been a financial journalist for 41 years. He began as a cadet on The Australian covering the Poseidon boom and bust; has been a columnist for Chanticleer in the Australian Financial Review and editor of the AFR, and columnist for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.
Alan has also served as editor of The Age and for the past 12 years he has been working for the ABC, first as business editor of the 7.30 Report and then host of Inside Business and finance presenter on ABC News. In recent years he has started his own newsletter, Eureka Report, and in 2007 launched a website, Business Spectator. In June 2012 Alan Kohler sold his interests in Business Spectator and Eureka Report to News Ltd. He continues to edit and contribute to both publications.

Landline is Australia's national rural issues program and is presented by Pip Courtney. The full hour of Landline can be seen on Sundays at noon on ABC and is repeated the following Monday at 11am.
Since 1991 this program has been ABC-TV's main vehicle for current affairs coverage of regional/rural issues and events.
