The moment Martin Hughes and his partner found out they were having identical twins he's been thinking of ways to prank strangers. We think he's come up with the ultimate one.
When the girls grew older he taught them how to recreate the iconic scene in The Shining.
He did a pretty good job too:

"As soon as we found out we were having identical twins I thought The Shining," he told BuzzFeed News.
"As they've gotten older and we can travel and stay in hotels, it was a given that I'd get them to stand holding hands in the hallway for a joke. They're too young to leave there to spook people directly, but when we've had them do the pose then stood back and someone's turned the corner they've gasped and gone a little green."
The girls don't look much like the original characters, but they still give unsuspecting guests a bit of a fright and now they've taken the scare factor to another level.
"I jokingly taught them 'Come and play with us' not long ago and now they do it around the house while holding hands and standing still," he said. "They're going to love Halloween in a couple of years."
The photo of the four-year-old sisters in The Shining mode has received 19,000 likes on Twitter and been shared more than 6,000 times.
While lots love the picture and even labelled it "parenting done right", I'm just hoping I never stay at the same hotel as the family. I may never sleep again.
