Doha

Doha (Arabic: الدوحة‎, ad-Dawḥa or ad-Dōḥa, literally in MSA: "the big tree", locally: "rounded bays") is the capital city and most populous city of the State of Qatar. Doha has a population of 956,460 within the city proper. The city is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country. It is Qatar's fastest growing city, with over 40% of the nation's population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and it is also the economic center of the country. It comprises one of the municipalities of Qatar.

Doha was founded in the 1820s as an offshoot of Al Bidda. It was officially declared as the country's capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence. As the commercial capital of Qatar and one of the emergent financial centers in the Middle East, Doha is considered a world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. Doha accommodates Education City, an area devoted to research and education.

The city was host to the first ministerial-level meeting of the Doha Development Round of World Trade Organization negotiations. It was also selected as host city of a number of sporting events, including the 2006 Asian Games, the 2011 Pan Arab Games and most of the games at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. In December 2011, the World Petroleum Council held the 20th World Petroleum Conference in Doha. Additionally, the city hosted the 2012 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations and is set to host a large number of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Philippine television drama

Philippine television drama, also known as teleserye, Pinoy telenovelas, Filipino telenovelas or P-drama, is a television form of melodramatic serialized fiction. Teleserye is rooted from two words: "tele," which is short for "television," and "serye," a Tagalog term for "series" and "drama" for drama.

Teleseryes share some characteristics and have similar roots with classic soap operas and telenovelas, yet the teleserye has evolved into a genre with its own unique characteristics, often working as a reflection of the social realism of the Filipinos. Teleseryes are aired in prime-time five days a week. They attract a broad audience which crosses age and gender lines, and they command the highest advertising rates in Philippine television. They last anywhere from three months to a year, or even longer, depending on its rating.

Teleseryes are currently produced by ABS-CBN, GMA Network, and TV5. Some of them are co-produced by TAPE Inc., Dreamscape Entertainment Television, VIVA Entertainment, GMA Films and Star Cinema.

Dhuwan

Dhuwan (Urdu: دھواں‎, English: Smoke) is a Pakistani drama serial. It was on aired in 1993. The play is based on a story of five friends, who take the challenge to fight against the terrorists and drug dealers. The serial known for its neat outdoor shooting and liberal use of ammunition to convey realism.

Plot

The story of this drama revolves around five young friends from the different parts of life, who want bring a positive change in society in order to serve their country. Azhar (Ashir Azeem) is newly appointed as ASP. He completed his engineering degree but to contribute to the society, he opted for the police duty. His first placement is in Quetta, where he finds his old friends: Dawood (Nabeel) who is a Doctor. There local friend Naveed also known as Nido (Asal Din Khan) who looks after his father's business. One of there old acquaintance Wajid who is a crime reporter in a local newspaper. Naveed and Wajid train with their friend Hameed who is the owner of an arm's store.

Azhar was being monitored by an undercover officer Sara (Nazli Nasr) posing as the UN worker. She most likely was providing information to the ministry in Islamabad. Their first meeting was on a flight to Quetta, there she tells that they are neighbors. Azhar is handed over a case of narcotics by the ministry and he is advised to assemble a team to carry out operations which cannot be shared by the local police, to avoid any possible tip-offs to the criminals. These five friends begin to train as a crack squad. They also begin to create a computerized database of NIC, Passport, and vehicle data.
