  1. If what has been reported is true, BJP MLA and former J&K Minister Lal Singh’s open death threat to journalists who do not tow the line, saying that they will meet the same fate as Shujaat Bukhari, is shocking. He should be proceeded under the law, and the BJP must expel him.

The of 45 yr cattle trader Qasim & 65 yr farmer Samiuddin is barbaric, evil, monstrous. Even minor boys formed a mob and abused them for their religion yet FIR reg for road rage! Cry, my beloved country

Going through your wonderfully written book "Adi Shankaracharya". Wish the chapter "A Select Anthology" had Shlokas in Sanskrit along with the transliteration that is already there.

Wonderfully written by . Books on Indian philosophy/philosophers can be full of long chapters on hard to understand concepts like Atman and Brahman (for most people); but this book is an exception. Thanks for this book sir.

The New Indian Express Friday 15th June, 2018. The two incidents, in the present instance, are: (a) reading Pavan Varma’s superb book Adi Shankaracharya: Hinduism’s Greatest Thinker and (b) watching the RSS event in Nagpur addressed by Pranab Mukherjee.

I am saddened by all the politics about Iftar get togethers. To participate in festivals of other religious communities, with respect and joy, is a part of our heritage and tradition. Why mire it in acrimony, and analyse it only for its political implications?

"What is ubiquitous but not constrained by the brittleness of form, is by definition imperishable"- writes Author about Hinduism in his book 'Adi Shankaracharya'. Such a beautiful line. Applies to so many things. Beauty is one such thing.

I have read lot of literature on Adi Shankaracharya — our greatest thinker. Now reading your book ⁦⁩ and you have presented his work in more comprehensible way for the first timers. So far, amazing read...glued to the book. 👍
