The entire month of May and the first two weeks of June is part of the Festival of Anarchy, with diverse anarchist-themed events occurring at different venues all over the island of Montreal. The Festival of Anarchy is organized as part of the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair (May 24-25) and is the largest anarchist event in North America. This year, the Festival of Anarchy features over 25 events at locations all over the island of Montreal.

Come out to La Déferle for a relaxed dinner of Latin American cuisine and hear all of the updates about the current legal state of 3 anarchists imprisoned in Mexico City.

Fallon, Amelie and Carlos were arrested at the beginning of this year, held for forty days without any accusations and finally slapped with 2 charges that translate to damages and attacking th public peace in a group. We will be giving some updates about their legal situation as well as providing some context and history of the anarchist space in Mexico City.

All funds raised at the dinner will go directly towards supporting anarchists in prison or on the run in Mexico. We can’t wait to see you there!
