Geoff completed two monographs on the New South Wales elections of 1930 and 1932 for the University of Sydney & NSW Parliamentary Library series on twentieth century NSW elections. In 2001 these were reprinted (without footnotes) in The People’s Choice: Electoral Politics in Twentieth Century New South Wales.

In April 2009 Australian Scholarly Publishing released a book based on Geoff’s doctoral thesis entitled When the Labor Party Dreams: Class, Politics and Policy in New South Wales 1930-32.
