Share an executive report

Share your executive reports with clients, executives, or other people who do not use DoubleClick Search by sending them a link to the report.

The link allows people to view the report without the ability to edit it, or see the data source.

  1. Open an existing report:
    1. From the top navigation bar in DS, click Executive Reports.
    2. Click a report title.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • Click Generate Report to run a new report.
    • Click Manage and schedule reports to select the report to share.

The report manager table lists one row for each time you have generated the report.

Report manager lists four reports with one green, View or remove link button in the URL column

  3. In the URL column, click the  gray Gray link icon indicates that the link is not shared  button to create a link to share.
  4. Copy the URL and send the link to anyone that you want.

The green Green link icon indicates that link has been created  button indicates that a link for the report has been created.

Some older reports can't be shared unless you run the report again.

Stop sharing a report

To remove everyone's access to a shared executive report, remove the link.

  1. Open an existing report:
    1. From the top navigation bar in DS, click Executive Reports.
    2. Click a report title.
  2. Click Manage and share reports in the top button bar.
  3. In the URL column, click the green Green link icon indicates that link has been created   button, and then click Remove link access.

The  Gray link icon indicates that the link is not shared  gray button indicates that a link is not available.

Note: It may take a few minutes to remove access to the link. If someone clicks on a now unshared link, a message displays, indicating that the report has been removed or the person's access has been removed.
