Born and bred in the North of England, Ruth read English and Theatre Studies at Lancaster University before settling in London 26 years ago, the city she still loves to call home. After working in Internet services during the ‘90s, Ruth established one of the first successful new media creative agencies in the UK. She advised many organisations, both private and public sectors, on brand communications and went on to develop business for several high profile design agencies.

A devoted Nichiren Buddhist and Astanga Yoga practitioner of 15 years, Ruth became an accredited Feng Shui consultant in 2006. She went on to qualify in the integration of Cold Laser technology with traditional Eastern medicine, and now runs a holistic healing practice. She is currently studying for a Masters degree at SOAS (University of London) in the History of Buddhism and Meditation.
