Bontempelli, Stringer and Co run all over the reigning premiers as Hawthorn go out in straight sets while the Swans avoid that fate as they muscle past Adelaide at the SCG.

Salem, 21, was playing for the Casey Scorpions against Williamstown when he was tackled by the Seagulls' Ed Carr late in the second quarter, losing consciousness.

Salem was then stretchered off the ground. He was talking and walking not long after, but would play no further part in the game, which his side was leading by 32 points at the time of his injury.

The third-season defender has faced several setbacks since being drafted by the Demons - including a hamstring injury in 2015 and a thyroid problem that derailed his 2016 campaign.

The winner of Sunday's match will face Footscray in a grand final next weekend.
