A floor-to-ceiling window in this bathroom is a no-brainer, but a vertical window to the side also means the bathroom receives adequate ventilation.

Indulge in the big and small thingsWhat could possibly be more relaxing and homely than areas that allow you or your guests to indulge? Creating an area in your home similar to this wonderful bathroom by Leung Architects is so important in order to live a balanced and positive lifestyle. Whether its a big indulgence, such as a freestanding deep bath, or a little one, such as an always-stocked chocolate box or gorgeous-smelling soy candles, these items will not only have a relaxing effect on you, but also on your home environment.

BlindsWith views this amazing, nothing but a fully glazed fixed window would have done justice to this luxury bathroom in Sydney’s Vaucluse. Privacy isn’t an issue by day, but when the bathroom is lit for all to see at night, roller blinds can preserve a bather’s modesty. Ventilation is achieved via the slender, sashless window to the left, providing minimal interruption to the view.

If you're going to have a free standing tub, leave enough room to clean around it easily - like this one. Gorgeous views.
