The shock resignations come less than a month after the Serious Fraud Office announced that it had begun a probe into allegations of corruption at the miner. The investigation was launched two days after the resignation of chairman Mehmet Dalman, who was brought in to clean up the firm’s reputation.

MONEY NEWS & ADVICE
Fans head to overseas music festivals as the price of a UK ticket soars by more than 124% in a decade
The poll revealed that nearly two thirds of revellers would consider going to a European festival rather than one in the UK, according to research by money-saving website Watchmywallet.co.uk. It said that more than half of people travelling abroad for a festival did so because of the price of tickets in the UK, while a quarter said the greater chance of good weather was a major factor.
'We are trapped': The life-long school friends split by the £44k state pension divide
For almost half a century, many of the girls in the Ilkley Grammar School hockey team, main picture, have stayed close. Despite their lives going separate ways the bond from those happy times in Yorkshire has always remained. But now Denise MacGregor, bottom right, will get a poorer pension than Linda Hull, top right, simply because she's five months older.
SIMON LAMBERT: It is time to drag the buy-to-let mortgage market out of the wild west
People tempted into buy-to-let are regularly putting down their life savings, or a substantial chunk, and many are taking their first foray into such investments. Yet like those with Bank of Ireland they are largely unprotected. So why do they remain unregulated?

ASK TONY: No one will admits it's theirs, so can Anyone Anywhere fix my phone line?
I decided to move my phone and broadband from Sky to a new supplier - Everything Everywhere (EE). However, I changed my mind and phoned EE to cancel. I also called Sky to say I would stay. I then lost access to my landline. The next day our landline came on again! Sky and EE say they are not the provider for this number.
The end of £66-a-week married person's pension: Who - and how many - will it affect?
Almost two million married retirees receive a state pension top-up based on their partner's work record. But this loophole will close to all claimants in 2016.
