Based on a true story, THE POSSESSION is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil.
Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. FILM DESCRIPTION:
Inspired by Los Angeles Times writer Leslie Gornstein's article "A Jinx in a Box," this horror film from Ghost House Pictures and director Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch) tells the tale of a broken family that comes under attack from a malevolent supernatural entity of Jewish folklore. Shortly after her parents (Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick) divorce, a young girl purchases an ornate antique box at a yard sale. In the weeks that follow, the young girl forms an intense fixation on the box, her behavior growing increasingly bizarre as she falls into the grip of a diabolical apparition. When the girl's father discovers that the relic is in fact a holding cell for the disconnected soul of a deceased person who has been denied entry into the afterlife and needs a human host to inhabit, he fights to rid her of the evil that threatens to consume her body and soul.

Sharifah Amani
Sharifah Amani binti Syed Zainal Rashid Al-Yahya (born 10 June 1986) is a Malaysian actress. She is the best known for her role as Orked in the 2005 film of Sepet and Gubra.
Biography
She is the second daughter of veteran Malaysian actress, Fatimah Abu Bakar. Sharifah is of Malay-Chinese-Arab-Bengali parentage and speaks fluent English, Malay and some Hindi. As a teen writer for the New Straits Times YouthQuake, Amani covered assignments like the Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla press conference, concerts by Bollywood stars, Deep Purple and the 3rd IIFA Awards in Genting Highlands. Sharifah has also dabbled in theatre, having acted as Ophelia in the Bangsar Actors Studio's Hamlet (2005), directed by Faridah Merican.
Career
Film
She is most famous for portraying the character Orked in Yasmin Ahmad's Orked trilogy. The first two films are Sepet and Gubra. In the latest instalment, Mukhsin, Sharifah Amani plays the adult version of Orked who "meets" her 10-year-old self (played by her younger sister, Sharifah Aryana). She previously played the supporting role as a sexually abused teenager in the film Gol & Gincu.

Possessed is a 2006 Malaysian horror film starring Amber Chia and Harisu, and is the second feature film by director Bjarne Wong.
Plot summary
Amber (Malay name Nurlin) and Lisu are two sisters from China, who have come to Malaysia to further their modelling and singing careers. One day Lisu goes missing, while Amber falls into a coma and is taken back to China for treatment. She awakens five months later with no memory of her past, and returns to Malaysia with her boyfriend, Dino. Amber decides to resume her modelling career and search for Lisu, but finds herself being harassed by an obsessive male fan and haunted by visions of her sister.

Amber Chia
Amber Chia (Chinese: 谢丽萍, pinyin: Xiè Lìpíng; born 14 December 1981) is a Malaysian model, actress, TV host and brand ambassador. She was born in Teluk Intan, Malaysia, but grew up in the city of Tawau, in Sabah, East Malaysia. She began her modelling career at seventeen in Kuala Lumpur.
Winner of the Guess Watches Timeless Beauty International Model Search 2004 title, Amber Chia became the world's first Asian model to triumph at global model searches; and the first Asian model to campaign for Guess Watches worldwide. Teamed up with a classmate, the two are lead to investigate a multiple homicide / suicide that eventually is discovered to have been an exorcism gone horribly wrong. Brandon quickly becomes obsessed with the event, and in a strange turn of events, decides the only way to research this topic is to undergo it himself. He creates a GoFundMe campaign, and despite a huge public outcry, raises a large amount of money so that he can be monitored medically after he conjures and invites an actual demon to possess him. Brandon quickly realizes that though he was incredibly intrigued by it, he has certainly taken on more than he can handle.

Telefilem hebat yang berpegang pada tema dosa dan pahala hanya dipisahkan oleh sebuah garisan yang cukup halus ini dibintangi oleh Noorkhiriah, Sharifah Amani dan pendatang baru Ismail Abd Aziz selaku teraju utama. Telefilem ini menjadi lebih mantap apabila dibantu oleh Isma Yusoof, Zaibo dan pendatang-pendatang baru seperti Zaibo, Nadia Aqilah Bajuri, Faizul Hashim, Farhan Daing, Yaya Nadzri dan ramai.
Antara Garisan bermula dengan kisah seorang uztaz bernama Arman (lakonan Ismail Abd Aziz) yang muncul di sebuah kampung di subuh hari. Dia telah bertembung dengan seorang perempuan GRO bernama Ayu (Noorkhiriah) yang sedang mabuk di hadapan masjid itu. Ustaz Arman yang ketika itu sedang berdiri di kaki tangga masjid telah memandang wanita itu dengan pandangan jijik dan Ayu pula memandang ustaz tersebut dengan perasaan malu.
Selepas daripada kejadian itu, mereka tidak lagi bertemu sehinggalah pada suatu hari dan waktu yang sama, Ayu pula berdiri di kaki tangga masjid di tempat yang sama dia terserempak dengan Uztaz Arman pada kali yang pertama. Tetapi kali ini, Uztaz Arman ditemui dalam keadaan yang cukup mengaibkan.
Pada saat itu, barulah mereka teringat yang mereka berdua pernah berada di tempat yang berbeza dan tersedar yang mereka berdua telah merubah kedudukan masing-masing kerana sedar apa yang membezakan mereka hanyalah satu garisan halus.
