Catherine Carberry lives in Spain, where she is completing a novel set in 1950s Puerto Rico. Her fiction has appeared in journals including North American Review, Greensboro Review, Sou'wester, Indiana Review, Harvard Review, and Tin House online, and has been broadcast on National Public Radio. Her essays and criticism appear regularly in The Rumpus and The White Review. She holds an MFA from Bowling Green State University, and has four times been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
