I'm not surprised the Cavs signed him. They know it was when he went down in Game 5 last spring that their chances of winning the title increased tremendously.
It's hardly unfair. The injury to Bogut might explain any element of the Cavs being lacking in determination or conviction. For a team that has dominated the East recently, this result and four losses in the last six games would suggest the Cavs are certainly lacklustre when compared to their "normal" selves.

That's just another possible reason for the Cavs being lacklustre and one that is a little easier to remedy than a broken leg
Not at all. He's be in the midst of a substantially huger contract right now, had he been able to stay healthy.
I'm sure BRoy much prefers potential knee replacement surgery to a HoF career.

There.
I've had my say.
As a Warriors fan, I have nothing but fond memories and good wishes for Andrew. Get well, Brother.
Shouldn't make jokes about Putin mate!
$11,300,000 usd by 580 odd minutes.
Never mind on my number about Bogut. Basketball-reference.com let me down. :)
It's less than half that. My math says $11,900.
There were 3 years that Brandon Roy made $52M for playing 0 minutes.
Such is life in the NBA with guaranteed contracts. Nice work if you can get it. :)
Good wishes to Andrew Bogut.

Some of the victories were due to Lebron not playing. It is that simple.

He's made about $25,000 dollars per minute this year. Looks like it might be the end of the road for him. Its a shame.
You mean he was becoming jaded having played one minute?
A bit unfair to label them lackluster, they had just seen their team mate possibly get a career ending injury
Don't worry Cleveland... You can still buy Lebron another championship. Luxury tax be damned! Just keep spending!
Probably for the best. He looked like he was becoming jaded playing for the Cavs.
