A woman in her 70s has died in a road collision in Co Kerry.
The woman, who was travelling alone, was fatally injured in the two-car collision on the Killarney to Mallow road at around 2.25pm.
The driver of the second car was airlifted to University Hospital Limerick.
It is understood the man, who is in his 20s, has serious injuries.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.
