Brown is the color of dark wood or rich soil. Brown is a composite color; in printing or painting, brown is made by combining red, black and yellow, or red, yellow and blue. In the RGB color model used to make colors on television screens and computer monitors, brown is made by combining red and green, in specific proportions. The brown color is seen widely in nature, in wood, soil, and human hair color, eye color and skin pigmentation. In Europe and the United States, brown is the color most often associated with plainness, humility, the rustic, and poverty. Brown is also, according to public opinion surveys in Europe and the United States, the least favorite color of the public.

The former Seattle resident was formerly known only as the Berlin Patient. He is now making himself more of a public figure aimed at promoting the search for an AIDS cure. Video interview done at AIDS 2012 conference.
Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Timothy Brown, the only person in the world believed to have been cured of AIDS, talks with Bloomberg's Rob Waters about the stem-cell transplant that helped him and how it may lead to new kinds of therapy to help other patients. Brown in 2007 received a stem-cell transplant that transferred genetic material to him from one of the 2 percent of people with a natural immunity to the disease. He has been off medication since then, and no traces of the AIDS virus have been found in his body, said his doctor, Gero Hutter, now with the German Red Cross in Manheim. (Source: Bloomberg)

Soliloquy - Late intermediate piano solo by Timothy Brown - This solo in the key of F# minor exudes a somber and haunting ambience. The L.H. contains accompaniment patterns consisting of extended arpeggios and harmonic voicing, while the R.H. plays the highly lyrical melody with a few cadenza-like passages. This piece will appeal to the teenager as well as the adult student - Federation Selection 2011 -- 2013 - (2009 FJH Pub.) .....sheet music..... FJH W9334

DemocracyNow.org - As researchers continue to look for a possible cure for HIV-AIDS, we turn to the remarkable story of Timothy Ray Brown, known in the medical world as the "Berlin Patient." He is the first person believed to have been cured of HIV. "I was diagnosed in 1995 with HIV and I was scared to death because at that point people were dying from the disease itself and also form the only available drug at the time, AZT," says Brown. A decade later he was diagnosed with leukemia as well. Living in Berlin at the time, Brown was treated by a German doctor named Gero Hütter who devised an experimental treatment to cure both the HIV and the leukemia. The treatment worked, making Brown the first person cured of AIDS since it was discovered over 30 years ago. Brown's story has inspired rese...

100's on everything (kills, items, and secrets). Record for low health = 10. This level, designed by me, is "Bloody Ice," and it occupies the level 31 slot (someone asked me what level number this is because I forgot to include it in the description of this video). It is snowy just like my Oreo Cake Massacre level, except that it has a lot of red and white in it instead of brown and white. I wanted to make some more levels in Hexen format because I did not want to move those to the waste dump (and not to mention, advanced features). Editors used are Doom Builder 2 and Slade 3. Music is from level 25 from Slaughterfest 2011. I put a new version of the level in because the last version that I had, I forgot to adjust the ceiling height on a couple of sectors and change the ceiling flats to sk...
