Thanksgiving Day leftover Turkey breast freezing meat in the freezer. How to freeze leftovers turkey using Foodsaver vacuum sealer. During Thanksgiving Day we usually cook the biggest or heaviest turkey available so that we have plenty of leftovers that we can freeze and use for future cooking meals - like turkey soup recipes. We love to use food saver vacuum sealers because they suck all the air out and the meats last longer in the freezer without freezer burn. There are a lot of food saver bags available, but we usually use Foodsaver bag since our vacuum sealer is Foodsaver.

This is a video demonstrating how I freeze whole turkeys. I raise turkeys for Thanksgiving, and like to freeze one to save for Easter. As you know, getting all the air out of the bag prior to sealing is important to reduce freezer burn. Proper preparations will ensure a fresh tasting juicy turkey! I came up with this little trick, although others may also use it (I don't ever claim to be the smartest innovator in food storage ideas!). After placing your fresh turkey in an appropriately sized poultry bag, I take the body of a ball point pen, duct tape it to the end of a vacuum cleaner attachment, and use it to suck all the air from a bagged bird. Immediately after the air has been removed from the bag I twist the bag end and use a wire tie to tightly seal the bag. After this, it's ready for the freezer. I've thawed and eaten birds that were stored this way after almost a year and they were just as juicy and fresh tasting as they were when they were fresh. I use this same technique for freezing chickens, and really anything too large for a Food Saver machine.

Cleaning out of 800 Tons of Poultry Litter and in with the New Shavings. Poultry litter is used to Fertilize Hay and Crop Fields, it is also burned in Electrical Plants for Electricity Throughout the Nation. We have Natural Turkey Barns with full length automatic curtains and Center Hanging Fans. Which allows for better Ventilation and we till the litter all the time so that it stays dry and fluffy. The more you till and the more Ventilation you have will allow the litter to remain as dry and fluffy as possiible. Plus for us we live in the Mountains of Appalachia where it stays cool for the most part in the summer thus there is little odor in our Litter, Thank Goodness!

Turkey has been inhabited since the paleolithic age, including various ancient Anatolian civilizations, Aeolian, Dorian and Ionian Greeks, Thracians, Armenians, and Assyrians. After Alexander the Great's conquest, the area was Hellenized, a process which continued under the Roman Empire and its transition into the Byzantine Empire. The Seljuk Turks began migrating into the area in the 11th century, starting the process of Turkification, which was greatly accelerated by the Seljuk victory over the Byzantines at the Battle of Manzikert in 1071. How to vacuum seal a whole turkey for freezing
This is a video demonstrating how I freeze whole turkeys. I raise turkeys for Thanksgiving, and like to freeze one to save for Easter. As you know, getting all the air out of the bag prior to sealing is important to reduce freezer burn. Proper preparations will ensure a fresh tasting juicy turkey! I came up with this little trick, although others may also use it (I don't ever claim to be the smartest innovator in food storage ideas!). After placing your fresh turkey in an appropriately sized poultry bag, I take the body of a ball point pen, duct tape it to the end of a vacuum cleaner attachment, and use it to suck all the air from a bagged bird. Poultry litter is used to Fertilize Hay and Crop Fields, it is also burned in Electrical Plants for Electricity Throughout the Nation. We have Natural Turkey Barns with full length automatic curtains and Center Hanging Fans. Which allows for better Ventilation and we till the litter all the time so that it stays dry and fluffy. The more you till and the more Ventilation you have will allow the litter to remain as dry and fluffy as possiible. Poultry litter is used to Fertilize Hay and Crop Fields, it is also burned in Electrical Plants for Electricity Throughout the Nation. We have Natural Turkey Barns with full length automatic curtains and Center Hanging Fans. Which allows for better Ventilation and we till the litter all the time so that it stays dry and fluffy. The more you till and the more Ventilation you have will allow the litter to remain as dry and fluffy as possiible. Plus for us we live in the Mountains of Appalachia where it stays cool for the most part in the summer thus there is little odor in our Litter, Thank Goodness!

This site is the former home of Hierapolis, a Roman Bath town.
The waters here are said to be good for the skin and eyes, and can be a remedy for asthma as well.
Shoes must be worn in the hot springs, to protect the deposits of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Capital of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara is today one of the country’s most modern cities and a vibrant world metropolis that offers a diverse variety of leisure time activities as well as being steeped in both history and tradition. On a hill to the north is the largest and most splendid mosque in Turkey, Kocatepe Camii. Between 1967 and 1988 the imposing tower was constructed with the help of private donations. It is a replica of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, has four minarets, and accommodates around twenty thousand worshippers. Ankara’s old town is overlooked by a castle mound upon which the city’s citadel extends above the pinnacle. The city’s oldest settlement area is surrounded by one of the mighty castle walls and dates back to the time of the Hittites. The slope of the hill in front of the citadel is completely covered with Gecekondus, a mass of quickly-constructed buildings which at first only consisted of walls and a roof. They are unique buildings and many of those who reside in them originate from the region of the same name. There is a splendid zoo in the western outskirts of the city which, as with many of the city’s parks, originated in the early years of the Republic. Atatürk believed that parks and leisure areas in general were essential to the good health of the nation and hence of the new national capital. Ankara, Turkey’s capital city, is full of contradictions and yet it is the extraordinary charm of this remarkable metropolis that makes everything make sense

Two men were arrested at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport in the early hours of Sunday, due to reports of gunfire after the two men ignored police orders to stop their motorcycle. One of the men was reportedly shot by Turkish police.
