A man who allegedly tailed and then rammed an undercover police car in Perth's southern suburbs on Saturday has been arrested and charged.
The incident occurred on Carrington Street in Hilton around 6am.
A police spokesman said Fremantle Detectives noticed a Ford Territory following their vehicle as they travelled down Winterfold Road.
"As the officers turned into Carrington Street, the Ford remained behind the police vehicle," he said.
"Shortly after the Ford struck the police vehicle from behind causing the police vehicle to spin out of control."
The police vehicle did not crash and no officers were injured in the incident.
The Ford allegedly drove away from the scene but was found a short time later in Nicolas Crescent.
The 37-year-old driver, from Hilton, was arrested and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday charged with two counts of unlawful act with intent to harm and one count of obstructing a public officer.
