Everyday Food Lover's Essentials

It was in their home kitchen that chef/restaurateur David Bitton and his wife Sohani started making their delicious products. It all began with their Strawberry and Vanilla Jam, made to meet the demand of locals who frequented their little café down the road in Sydney's inner-city suburb of Alexandria. As demand grew, so did the Bitton range of products, which now boasts more than a dozen offerings sold at the original cafe, their new venue in Oatley and some 300 fine food stores around Australia and overseas. Inspiration for the Bitton ranges comes from various sources – David's French upbringing and training, his grandfather's Moroccan heritage and Sohani's South African Indian background.
David's philosophy and approach to his food and business ventures is to offer people the sense of coming home, of being able to relax and enjoy their meal in the company of good friends. Bitton products, too, are created to form the basis of generously flavoured, heartwarming dishes, elevating simple ingredients to something memorable.
