We have over 20 years experience in the industry and we've worked with businesses and home users during this time. We're always learning new and better ways to improve our services to do the best we can for our clients.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in Computer Repairs including virus removal, data retieval and backups. We won't go the easy route to repair your system unless that is our only option.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Computer Virus Repairs start at $90 for standard removal. All other computer repairs are $90 plus parts. A Digital High Gain Heavy Duty Antenna cost $275 installed. Extra TV Outlets start at $100 depending on difficulty. Foxtel Distribution starts at $220 installed. Foxtel Distribution is where we install a device next to your Foxtel Set Top Box and distribute the signal through your antenna cables. Every Outlet attached to you TV Antenna will receive Foxtel.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We always use quality components and take our time to install our products to ensure our clients get the best and most professional service they can get. We will spend the extra time usually at no extra cost to get the job done right.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We are happy to offer a $10 discount for all Computer Repairs and $25 discount for all TV Antenna Installations to all our Oneflare customers. This discount is not applicable to already discounted services.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

For Computer Repairs 1. Backup your data if possible. 2. Drop off and Pickup your computer to save money and time. 3. Provide as much information as possible of the leadup to the problem. For Antenna Installations 1. Identify locations for antenna outlets in particular cavity walls. 2. Provide information of the problems for any repairs. 3. Provide as much information of your house as possible so that we can install the correct components.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We require information of what was done on your computer just before the problem started to help us identify the best way to repair it. We also require the brand and age of the computer.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We're insured and we guarantee all our work. All Computer Repairs are guaranteed of the problem repaired. Al parts used will have the manufacturers Warranty (usually 1 Year but sometimes longer). All new Computers have a 1 Year Warranty. All TV Antenna Installations have a 3 Year Warranty except for electrical components which have a 1 Year manufacturers Warranty.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I have been repairing computers and installing TV Antennas for over 20 years and I value all my customers. I always want to make certain that my clients are very happy with the services I have provided.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you and what is your answer?

I often get asked how long will it take to repair a computer. For relatively easy problems it usually takes a couple of hours but sometimes for very difficult and stubborn problems it could take a couple of days. We will make certain we get your computer up and running as soon as possible.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

The simplest way to repair a computer is to restore it to factory default. This doesn't usually solve all your problems. Your system was most likely setup the way you need it to be with programs and data. A repair is the best way to get your computer running properly again as it will be the same as it was before the problems started. A restore to factory default should be the last option in repairing. Always ask how your repairer will tackle the issues.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the satisfaction in repairing problems that the average person can't do. Every time a customer of mine is happy with the work I've provided it makes me proud.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

A few years ago I had a business client that had a computer where the hard drive died. They took the computer to a business to get repaired and were told the only thing they could do was to replace the hard drive and start again. This would have meant losing data that they unfortunately hadn't backed up and caused a lot of stress for them. They contacted me and although there was no way I could guarantee a full restore I told them that I would try whatever was possible. After many painstaking hours I was able to restore the data on a new hard drive and all they lost was a few days without the computer and a labour charge. Since that day I have always serviced and upgraded their computers.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been interested in playing around with computers and started with friends and family. Gradually the word spread amongst their friends and family until I decided to incorporate this work into my business. It is now almost 80% of the work I do. I still look after computers for friends and family.
