Jet, Jets, or The Jets may refer to:
The atmosphere of Earth is the layer of gases surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth's gravity. The atmosphere protects life on Earth by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation, warming the surface through heat retention (greenhouse effect), and reducing temperature extremes between day and night (the diurnal temperature variation).
The common name air (English pronunciation: /ɛər/) is given to the atmospheric gases used in breathing and photosynthesis. By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.039% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases. Air also contains a variable amount of water vapor, on average around 1% at sea level, and 0.4% over the entire atmosphere. Air content and atmospheric pressure vary at different layers, and air suitable for the survival of terrestrial plants and terrestrial animals is found only in Earth's troposphere and artificial atmospheres.
The atmosphere has a mass of about 5.15×1018 kg, three quarters of which is within about 11 km (6.8 mi; 36,000 ft) of the surface. The atmosphere becomes thinner and thinner with increasing altitude, with no definite boundary between the atmosphere and outer space. The Kármán line, at 100 km (62 mi), or 1.57% of Earth's radius, is often used as the border between the atmosphere and outer space. Atmospheric effects become noticeable during atmospheric reentry of spacecraft at an altitude of around 120 km (75 mi). Several layers can be distinguished in the atmosphere, based on characteristics such as temperature and composition.
High Speed is a 1986 pinball game designed by Steve Ritchie and released by Williams Electronics. This game was based on Ritchie's real-life police chase inside a 1979 Porsche 928. He was finally caught in Lodi, California on Interstate 5 and accused of speeding at 146 mph.
During its design, High Speed was jokingly called "High Cost" by some rival Williams designers due to its then-high production cost. The advances in the mechanical design that went into High Speed, coupled with the machine's popularity, led to many machines being kept in service much longer than was previously the norm. The play surfaces of the machine were not initially given as much attention, leading to many High Speed machines seeing service to this day in extremely worn condition. Williams rapidly addressed this issue by making mylar playfield covers available and later adding hard clear paint coats to their playfields. Canadian specialist Classic Playfield Reproductions produced an officially licensed High Speed 13-color Reproduction Playfield, which shipped as limited edition in 2014.
Philippine Airlines (PAL), a trade name of PAL Holdings, Inc. (PSE: PAL), also known historically (until 1970) as Philippine Air Lines, is the flag carrier of the Philippines. Headquartered at the PNB Financial Center in Pasay City, the airline was founded in 1941 and is the first and oldest commercial airline in Asia operating under its original name. Out of its hubs at Ninoy Aquino International Airport of Manila and Mactan-Cebu International Airport of Cebu, Philippine Airlines serves 31 destinations in the Philippines and 41 overseas destinations in Southeast Asia, East Asia, Middle East, Oceania, North America and Europe.
Formerly one of the largest Asian airlines, PAL was severely affected by the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. In one of the Philippines' biggest corporate failures, PAL was forced to downsize its international operations by completely cutting flights to Europe and Middle East, cutting virtually all domestic flights except routes operated from Manila, reducing the size of its fleet, and laying off thousands of employees. The airline was placed under receivership in 1998, and gradually restored operations to many destinations. After PAL's exit from receivership in 2007, PAL embarked on a frequent revamp of management. However, PAL's vision to re-establish itself as one of Asia's premier carriers, is still the matter of greatest importance.

Sound travels at about 760 miles per hour, or 340 meters per second and about 661 knots on an average day at sea level. And sometimes, you can almost see it. Going close to that speed through air can cause some unusual visual effects. This compiled footage includes F-14s, standard and Blue Angels F-18s, plus the SR-71 and an Atlas Rocket launch. AVweb contacted sources at NASA to research the phenomena. A collection of video clips from airshows over the past few years that I never did anything with. Aircraft featured are the USAF Thunderbirds, USN Blue Angels, B-1B, MiG-17, F-100 Super Sabre, QF-4E Phantom, F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning II, and more! Mainly featuring the aircraft in a high speed pass or with the afterburner lit. Tracking isn't great in every shot, so please enjoy the sound if nothing else. Shows featured: Atlantic City 2012 Ocean City 2012 Lehigh Valley Airshow 2013 Airventure Oshkosh 2014 Airventure Oshkosh 2015 Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cRM-rDC9uM Part 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRU1lArZtpg Like my Facebook for updates: https://www.facebook.com/MrRockoutLoud/ Come talk aviation at Flight Sim Global: http://www.flightsimglobal.com

This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" and must not be re-uploaded! 1080p HD! Finally got here! Wanted to go filming at this spectacular airport for many years now and on January 26th 2015 I made it! This beautiful airport is right in the heart of the Alps and is surrounded by steep hillsides in just about all directions making for some rather interesting approaches and just generally beautiful scenery for filming! Notice the calm conditions and lack of wind also meant bi-directional runway operations. Some aircraft departing/arriving to/from the west and others the east. It varied back and forth all day. A fairly quiet day with not too much traffic around but still enough! INCLUDES: Austrian Dash8's, Transavia 737-800, 2x EasyJet A319's, British Airways A320, Privat...

Come with me as I board a Air Canada Airbus A321 from Toronto's Pearson International Airport to Vancouver International Airport. After leaving our previous flight from Boston we head towards customs and security and then off to our gate! I was able to catch a sharp corporate-looking A320 taxing by and a 777-300ER which probaly came from London or Frankfurt. Once onboard the A321, our pushback was delayed for about 20 minutes while the pilots were getting some info on the cargo they were carrying. It would appear that the pushback awoke the barking dog from its sleep ;-) The infamous Airbus PTU (Power Transfer Unit) was followed by the Air Canada Dreamliner taxing by us along with other assorted AC aircraft. While taxing we pass a Jet Airways 777-300ER and the Dreamliner again. We hold sho...
