Paying your fine

If you have received an infringement notice or a penalty reminder notice, you have 42 days to pay the fine. Your notice includes the due date.

Your notice also lists available payment methods:

POST billpay

Present your infringement notice or penalty reminder notice before the due date at any Australia Post outlet to pay by cash or direct debit. Please note, Australia Post will not accept cheques.

BPAY telephone or internet banking

Contact your financial institution to make this payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account. For more information visit BPAY.

Payment plans cannot be paid with BPAY.

By mail

Use the reply paid envelope enclosed with your notice to send the notice with a cheque or money order made payable to:

Send the infringement or penalty reminder notice with your cheque or money order (do not send cash). Make sure you write the infringement number clearly on the back of the cheque or money order.

Please note: Receipts will not be issued for payments received by mail.

In person

You can make a payment in person at the Victorian Electoral Commission, located at Level 11, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

Present your notice to pay by cheque, money order or cash.
