Camillo De Luca is a Melbourne-based artist and recent finalist in the Gallery of NSW Archibald Prize.
He majored in drawing and sculpture at RMIT and has owned a gallery in Richmond, Victoria, where he worked closely with other graduate artists for many years. “The beauty and complexity in the work of great masters has always inspired me. I deflected quickly to art school where I found my passion and skills. My approach is ‘honest’. Every mark I make is as true as possible to what I see. Hopefully the viewer can connect and respond with what I am feeling.”
