What is one area where a change in your attitude would make a positive difference for you and the people you care about? What new attitude will you adopt?

Thanks for sharing Meredith. Yes our attitude affects us in so many ways. I think sometimes we do not realize this.
ReplyDeleteMeredith,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder that we may not be able to control others attitude, We always control ours and we react to any given situation. Thanks!
Marnee, you're right. Being aware of what our attitude is in a given moment is the key to changing it.
ReplyDeleteGreg, I appreciate your comment. Ultimately, we are only responsible for our own attitude. When we give up the need to control others, it frees us to work on ourselves!
What I like most about attitudes - 1) They powerfully influence behavior, and 2) They can be quite easy to change. If you have no conflict with a particular attitude, you can adopt it in a couple minutes and start reaping benefits. I've done this many times. Ingraining a new skill can take months.
ReplyDeleteGreat point, Denny, about the difference in changing an attitude vs. a skill. That's encouraging to people who really do want to form a new attitude...about ANYthing.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteOur response is always determined by our attitudes.
