Seattlepi.com's Stephen Cohen gives three need-to-know facts about Seattle sports this week. Tat's Delicatessen, Pioneer Square, Seattle.

In the second edition of our Seattle Sports over Sandwiches video series, we headed down to Pioneer Square institution Tat's Delicatessen, which has been serving some of the city's best sandwiches since 2004.

A Pacific Northwest interpretation of an East Coast deli, Tat's is know for its Philly cheesesteak, but I went with my personal favorite: the hot beef. With roast beef in au jus, provolone, horseradish and hot peppers stuffed inside an Italian roll, it's a mouthful -- more so if you inject yours with fries, which of course I did.

It's a fun week for Seattle sports fans, with the NFL scouting combine getting under way in Indianapolis, as well as the Pac-12 women's basketball tournament at Key Arena. The Sounders also kick off their season on Saturday.
